@MysteryManGER how about a multi-purpose arena with an oval and stunts in it? Don't have that much time, creating the rally covet and Cabrio bolide takes a lot of time already. I can send you the .skp file though
Since the first release, lots of people asked me about vegetation and a good looking scenery...so here is a beginning
I'm kinda worried about the fps. You just got some new parts ,which might lead you to get too carried away.
FPS should be no problem. If you can run all the default maps with a good framerate, this map will be fine. In case you get bad FPS you can also just delete the "Forest"-item. Some more progress...
Before the next release I want to have some Beta-Testers (for the next Beta ) I am not sure how the vegetation will affect the framerate, so I need some tests on different hardware. If you are interested, please tell me your PC-specs: - CPU - Mainboard - Type and amount of RAM - SSD or harddisc - video card - OS (32 or 64 bit) You'll have to compare the last version (BETA3) with the new one concerning the framerate at different places. So if you are interested, let me know.
- CPU Intel i7-6700hq@2.6 GHz with 3.5 boost - Mainboard HP Pavillon laptop - Type and amount of RAM ddr3l 1600mhz 8 gb - SSD or harddisc ssd, Samsung 120gb - video card 950m v2 4gb oc - OS (32 or 64 bit) 64 I would like to test have nothing to do until Monday so I even have time for it
Hey! Beta-tester here CPU: Intel Core I5-6300HQ - 2.30 GHz Mainboard: It's a laptop, so... RAM: DDR5 8GB SSD: 1TB Video Card: Nvidia GTX 970M - 12GB OS: x64 PC : MSI GE62 6QF Apache Pro BeamNG config : All Highest, on ECU, 50 - 70 FPS everywhere
Eh i guess i might pitch in a little bit. Specs: Windows 10 64-bit Intel core i7 4790 NIVIDIA Geoforce GTX 980 4gb 16GB DDR3 128GB SSD + 1TB I have vsync on so usually have around 60 fps everywhere. Sometimes 45 in certain specific areas in ECA iirc.
Anyone with a low spec system? Like an i3 processor or Pentium/Celeron/Core2Duo and GeForce 560/960/1050/older or similar Radeon? And less than 8 GB RAM?
I have a sort of low end system, I3 3360@3.3 GHZ dual core Asus M??? Pro motherboard Nvidia GTX970 MSI 4GB DDR4 16 GB 2x 500GB Gigabyte hard drives Windows 7 64 bit professional
^ GTX 970, 16GB of DDR4 with Ivy-Bridge? There's no Ivy Bridge CPU and compatible with it MOBO that you could pair with DDR4s. Also i3 3360 doesn't exists. Anyway how could you call desktop GTX 970 + 16GB od DDR 4s a low-end? It's enough to run GTA V on very high, witcher 3 on very high etc. at stable 60fps FHD, where PCs like this are called low-end? I'd like to move there. OT: I could test on low-end setup: Laptop i5 5200U (2c/4t) + integrated Intel HD graphics (handles gridmap in ~25-40fps lowest) and also on mobile Radeon M265 (handles every map over 60fps at low-medium [when it finally works with BeamNG] ).
Sorry, I'm not a computer expert like some people, I'm not in front of my PC right now so I can't get exact specs. And plus a lot of the PC is from a office computer, so it's quite worn
Okay guys...here is the BETA-Preview. Passwords will be sent per PM. Extract the file and move it to My Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods. Make sure to overwrite the existing file! You have to delete your cache...open My Documents/BeamNG.drive and delete the following folders: - cache.0.8.0.1 - levels This is very important! Really!! Then start your game as usual and choose the "Car Jump Arena BETA PREVIEW"-map. Please compare the BETA-Preview with the last official release (BETA 3). I want to know your framerate before/after at the following locations: - Ramp at the top - Ramp at the "drop" - Landing zone in the middle of the gravel pit facing to the exit - Landing zone in the middle of the gravel pit facing to the ramp - In the middle of the bridge facing to the tunnel - In the middle of the bridge facing to the ramp And your opinion about the general FPS during cruising around the whole map. If you'll find any bugs and/or easter eggs..report them please (only PM!) ...and last but not least...this BETA-Preview is NOT PUBLIC! Keep the password for yourself...and DON'T publish it or give it to someone else! Thanks for your BETA-Test! And have fun testing!
