That's the point of a high-end luxury car. In manual A/C, you have to adjust it to outside temperature. Automatic just keeps it still, at least supposedly. Can change the information displayed, and show a wider range of it.
Well, personally I like the digital speedometer in my Honda Civic. For me it is easier to read my exact speed that way.
I meant those bits on the roof that are usually chrome. I know they're rails for roof racks Yeah, I don't mind digital gauges when they aren't too clunky. All you need in one is speed, rpm, some minor infotainment controls, and the rest can go on the screen.
