Can't download mods

I can't download mods, i press subscribe (i have had many mods in the past but the download has broken in the snowman update) but nothing downloads it starts and when it finishes it says "Repo error could not download the file, file missing" the only way i can download is manually but it takes 10 minutes to download a 20 MB file. i have good internet but it's downloading slow. I have reinstalled the game and cleared cache.

Wipe the Documents/BeamNG.Drive folder.
If you do not want to delete your mods, move the 'MODS' folder to your desktop, do not put it back.

And recheck.
