If you are a console player with a last gen console or a PC player who doesn't care for the post-ultimate box DLC, sure. But if you want a copy for current gen consoles or want the game for PC with official DLC then it seems good. Paradise on steam right now is $20. There are a lot of DLC not in Ultimate Box, including big surf island which itself was $13. That means $7 for updated textures, supporting possible future development, and all the missing DLC (if I remember correctly it was boost specials, toy cars, legends, and police cars). I'd say that's not bad.
I really doubt that they want make another Burnout game. Reason why they make this useless remaster is get easy money, because Battlefront 2 was a little financial failure. Really, people are gonna buy it? It's amazing that you can just write "Remastered" on 10 years old game and sell it again in full price. You want see good remaster? Look at Age of Empires. Improved graphics, added new interface and gameplay features (like queuing units) but gameplay is still exactly same like in original and you can even import maps originally made for old AoE. This is REAL remaster.
I want a PC copy with all official DLC (without having to use a mod) and this is the only way to get it, so yes I will be getting it. In my previous post I already explained that the $40 base price is fair. I will not boycott it just because they haven't changed much, it's still a great game for a fair price. If you don't like the fact this it's labeled a remaster then just scribble out the word "remaster" for "current gen console and the PC copy that should have been released a long time ago".
Basically what the steam version of Burnout Paradise does to my computer after a certain amount of time. Photo taken from the internet:
Steam Burnout Paradise works fine here too. I have heard that sometimes having web cameras enabled can cause issues (I guess kinda like how having the touchscreen keyboard turned on will crash some Square Enix games). Also, some people have to run the game in comparability mode.
