This 8GB RX 580 should be plenty to play BeamNG: https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-rad...cs_Card-_-14-932-247-_-Product&quicklink=true
From what I've been reading from the comment/suggestions i might be going this route but nothing is set in stone. This is what i'm thinking for my build: CASE: NZXT H510i (already have) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: RX 580 8GB MOBO: msi mpg b550 gaming edge wifi PSU: either a 450w - 650w something that is full modular STORAGE: 500GB or 1TB SSD, maybe an m.2 style SSD MEMORY: G.SKILL FLARE X series 16GB (2X8GB) (for amd) I'm a noob when it comes to building a computer since all of the pc's that i've owned have been pre-built.
i'm picking up the msi mpg b550 gaming edge wifi motherboard for under $200 from someone around my area and not having to worry about shipping and waitinf for it to be delivered.
if i change the graphics card from a rx 580 to a geforce rtx 3060ti am i still going to have any bottlenecking issues when it's running with a ryzen 5 3600 and not overclocking.
i know it's my choice but i was wondering out of these two b550 mobo's would be a good deal: GIGABYTE B550 AORUS ELITE AX AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard $169.99 or MSI MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard $189.99 both come with wifi and support ryzen 5 3600 cpu.
just watch LTT... He's done so many builds! Which build should he watch? The slowest brand new one? The fastest computer ever? Honestly, just watch secret shopper and buy an iBuyPower.
Lol. LTT is my favorite YouTube channel. --- Post updated --- I would go for the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite.
got a good deal on the gigabyte b550 aorus elite ax mobo for $159.99 with a promo code for $10 off anything of $50 plus free delivery and should get it between jan 8-13
looks like i'll be going in the route of buying a pre-built computer for one reason the graphics card since most of them are out of stock in store and online and having to wait to see if the prices will eventually go down. a lot of the pre-built pc's i'm seeing are more on the intel side and less for the amd side for the processor. so it would look it would be intel but i would prefer amd as my cpu.
Yeah I told you, buy an iBuyPower! Their build quality is good, and if you saw secret shopper it survived Sarah yanking out the GPU.
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypo...4gb-240gb-ssd-1tb-hdd/6443976.p?skuId=6443976 is this a good buy since it's $600 and upgrade the memory to 16gb
Looks decent, but do you know what motherboard it has? Sometimes these computers have really cheap and terrible motherboards.
