WIP Beta released Bruckell R10/Mint New Thread

Another great update! Love the Baja config! The S-10 Baja is my favorite version of the first gen S-10, so seeing a lore-friendly version is awesome!

Gotta say, though, it's a shame that the vanilla bumper that's default on that config doesn't have an option for a rear license plate. But that's a vanilla issue (since those bumpers do come from the vanilla D-Series), not a mod issue.

There is a little issue with the Baja's livery, though, as there's a few spots of color bleed on it. Two spots of red on the hood and a spot of white on the black portion on both sides of the bed.

 

i was tired when i released the update and forgot the plates, its since been fixed and im doing some bug fixing for another update today :3

side mirrors
UVing errors with the body
the doors have an interior mesh now (you can remove the door panels and the door wont be see through)
rear license plates for roll pan and tubular bumper

new parts
skyetecc flatbed and led lightbar for roof (showcased with a skyetecc shop truck config)
clear front signals
race and heavy duty brakes

 

Quietly, the placement actually fits the diesel engine very well. It just needs some adjustments like the intake, radiator, and the exhaust connection to the muffler.

 

I did not know you can put [CEEP] engines in it!

 

oh yeah, you can do that. Just transfer all of the engines for pickup inside of CEEP into the s10 file in the R10 mod. You will also need to transfer the transmission the same way. No slot modification or anything.

 

I don't feel like modding soooo...
Can you send the mod file over please?

 

yeah, it will be the version before the current though. I haven't done it to the most current yet.

Yo, that's awesome! Reminds me of that Chevy S10 my dad used to drive long ago! I think it used to have a V8 engine. Such a quick little truck!

 

should make it separate mod so you can debug easier, and when i release r10 to repo you might be able to put it on repo ;3

Merry Christmas, wish i came up with this sooner, but i came across an old video where a guy went over all the stuff he got with little trucks hauling christmas trees, so i added a christmas tree and a wreath to the R10
theres now two configs of the R10, where its a little red truck hauling a christmas tree (short and longbed)

theres also some bug fixes with this version

Great to see a holiday update for this model!

Also wanted to point out a couple of things that could use fixing. The first is the tubular rear bumper's license plate update, it probably should be equipped with a plate on it for at least the Baja config, but any time the bumper is equipped, you have to add the plate.

The other is the fact that regardless of config being spawned, it spawns with the wreath on it, which I'm sure is only supposed to be default on the Christmas configs.

That aside, love the update, looking forward to what comes next!

the wreath was intentional to spawn on everything for the holidays :3

 

I wanted to request a car if you ever get around to just being bored sometime, I have a 97 honda accord and have yet to see it in any game. Curious if you could do that since this looks so good
