Toyota Tercel... boring as hell... doesn't even come with a passenger mirror (not that you're gonna be passing anyone in this anyways)
The Mk4 Jetta looks like a car that was made to just sit in the background of movies and TV shows. It has no design at all, just some lines with lights, windows, and wheels.
Beige Motor Works 3 series. My friend used to own a 2001 Tercel with 1.5L engine. Terribly underpowered, cheap interior, cheap looking exterior. Door handles gave up on 180k kms. At least the engine is trouble free and it has a stick.
Same... one of my friends bought one and had me drive it back for him (he is overseas right now) and my goodness does that thing lack power. I had that thing pegged for 32 miles on the interstate and never managed to hit 70 (which was the speed limit on that interstate)... the closest I got was 63 until I found a group of semis and I slid in with them.
That's not changing the boring ass design of those Toyotas and I know "AE86 is great" but I'm talking about the other models that are more background vehicles.
I find very average cars boring. Good cars are obviously good and bad cars have lots of character but average cars are just that.
