that is one chonker of a graphics card, I play on a laptop so there is no way that would fit I use a lenovo thinkpad t450
i literally just got this laptop, honestly im totally fine with playing on it because performance is acceptable to good. When i need to get a new computer i will look for something much better or upgradeable --- Post updated --- also I think its an integrated graphics card, because it is really thin for a laptop
it's not really possible to upgrade a laptop (other than the drive and RAM) but i'd suggest getting a mid-tier gaming laptop, secondhand from a few years ago. (i'm on a ~6 year old acer i bought 4 years ago for 300 bucks, and it runs the game acceptably with a GT840M graphics card.
Just for info. That's a office spec PC, it wasn't ment to run games in the first place. When looking at laptops/desktops, there's always going to be versions ment for gaming and for office use
My computer, msi gf63 thin 9sc. I got it on new years day, so you should be able to find it on sale right now.
Update #2 Beam NG has started lagging really hard and i get like 2-4 fps on lowest in small iland and i lag in gridmap
Depends on how many mods you have. I feel really bad for you. As you are stuck in a limbo of boredom with no mod and alright frames, and mods that relieve boredom but probably eat your frames.
i posted my laptop specs a few posts ago and at the moment i have over 140 mods active... and i still get 25-30 fps without any major stuttering. albeit, no massive maps open but still.. i have set the graphics to lowest except maybe textures and shaders.. but thats about it.. also maybe turn off reflections and shadows all the way and see if that helps
@alexthecarguy1 Here's a list of things you might want to try, and some take longer than others, but I've put them in order of helpfulness. 1. Defrag your hard drive (you shouldn't need to do this as you have an SSD, so moving on) 2. Try it in safe mode 3. Check your power settings and make sure you're on high performance for everything. Even desktops sometimes go on power save mode (don't ask why, I don't know ) 4. Make sure you have no other programs in the background eating resources. 5. Verfiy game files 6. Try in safe mode again 7. Listen to someone else, as this is all I've ever had to do, and therefore all I know how to do
Not like me... okay, I may have purposely tripled my number of tabs open, but I regularly have 20+ tabs open
