Hi there! Love the mod, all I ever wanted from the game! A small question, My Dad has a Tiger Super six, and i was wondering how possible it would be for you to create a variant that has a spare tyre on the back? like the 140S variant you have, but with a 5th tyre? Thanks! ps, also, do you have any plans for a right hand drive version?
RHD is something I wanted to do for a while, but I want to get the interior in a nice shape first. Shouldn't be too hard since it's just going to require offseting a bunch of flexbodies and changing where the driver viewpoint is defined. Spare tire shouldn't be too hard as well, I mainly need to see which wheel options I'd put there. I'm also adding the SOHC Covet engine powercurve as an additional option, using the same meshes, along with 4 bolt hub options, with the goal of replicating the earlier/less powerful Caterhams.
Would it be possible to add shift lights to the MoTeC unit (yes thats what it looks like to me) like the shift light multi that the game already has or would that be too difficult
Is that only with the sequential gearbox? And seems like the hillclimb pessima also has that issue. RPM drops when going from reverse to neutral. On the sunburst it's not enough to stall the car but it does on the pessima and on the superlite. I'll investigate but for now I suggest giving it some throttle to avoid the issue.
In other news, I hadn't really given any though to the car's Ackermann (parallel steer). I discovered today it has around 200% of Ackermann, which is a bit too much. It's going to be changed it so it's much closer to 100%, which makes the car nicer to drive, especially with sport tires. I'm also doing some changes to the steering box. The new default steering rack is going to have the same steering angle as the current high-angle steering rack, just at around half the speed. Should make it slightly easier to drive with a gamepad, and much easier to catch slides.
This mod is awsome I just tested the car and i'm allreddy in love with the handeling and the way it looks
Thank you for this! It is a really nice mod and a lot of fun to drive! Great work and I hope to see more from you!
Can I suggest making kinda more Lotus Seven'ish engine? Carburated with thrumpets or big air filters? And a throttle bodies options. One more suggestion is classic interior with needles but not digital dash. It's just suggestions, I don't want to offend you
For the regular gauges it's definitively something I want to add as an option, main thing I need to do first is make some decent looking gauge face textures. This is probably going to come whenever I end up reworking the dashboard, which is quite bare currently. My texturing knowledge when starting this thing was around zero, which is part of why I went for the digidash initially instead. I might see for the engine. Instead of the Covet powercurves onto a 200bx engine mesh, might not be too difficult to just throw the Miramar engine in there as a less powerful option. And it would probably work decently well with the current exhaust setup, unlike a V8/V6 or a pigeon engine. Looking good. Did you have to do much filling up of the model? Post a pic here once you've got a successful print
I had more problems with the tubes of the cages being too fragile than with the filling. The bodies are pretty straight. The Autobello was a nightmare to fill. The buggy is ready and painted, it's waiting the superlite to be ready and some sun.
Once in a while, but it's mainly going to be polishing and interior work, no major changes. I've already fixed a few things on my end, like the change to the lights that nadeox suggested. I'm fairly satisfied with it from a Jbeam and performance side, and I don't plan to change much to that. It mainly needs an actual interior, some textures, more skins and possibly a few more accessories.
Talking about the buggy, they are really common here, but most are made without the fiber panels, just the cage. Can you make a version like this?
I'd suggest posting buggy suggestions in the buggy thread But I might look at it, main issue right now is that the body hides a few flaws the car has, like the steering by wire And it's not meant to be a VW based sandrail, but more like a class 9 or class 1/2-1600 racing buggy.
