The Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, and Silverado had a new generation around 2007. They went from a box (early 90's, late 80's for the Silverado), to a rounder box (2000-2006), to a melted box in 2007. The 2006 facelift looks like the Roamer, and I think it would make sense for the D-Series to have one as well, just have a different tailgate handle and a rounder cab to make it more like a 2000's truck. The 87-91 D-Series could use a slightly different body to make it somewhat different than the later iterations, as well as old style chrome handles.
The pre-facelift's body works fine, it just needs a new hood/doors, contemporary accessories, and maybe some slight interior changes like the gauge cluster. As for a 2000 D-Series... I think this should be it for the Gavril full sized trucks. I'm never one to turn down content, but at the same time the 1986-2003 D-Series pickup is pretty much the only vehicle in the entire game that could pass for "factory complete" for content (engine options being a bit of an astrisk). Combine that with the fact that a 2000's D-Series pickup would only bring more attention to how weird it is for Gavril to have 2 different full sized truck bodies for 11 years and I think the 2000's Gavril pickup slot is best left alone. If we ever do get another fill sized truck I would go with a modern Japanese truck or a 1950's Bruckell (or a new small American brand analagous to Studebaker) to maximize differences with what we already have.
Yeah this mod also messed up AR162B's old style mod for me. Quite a shame because I liked the changes they made better. I honestly think that mod deserves to be integrated into the game
