There's someone on another forum that's willing to give me their R9 270x for free after they upgrade their card. If I do get it, you all better watch out.
If I gave you my GPU we'd both lose since neither of them is better than a 7970 but a 270 and 270x together.. (Would take a long time for me to catch up though.)

Backfired for me, but errm, not specifically because it was email, actually I originally hand wrote a letter and then bottled it when it came to actually giving it to her and to this day still have the original letter. Its not because I'm clinging to it, its still in the bottom of my bag and I just haven't moved it out of there along with various leaflets and other documents that have piled themselves up. I scanned it and sent it digitally like a cowardly little prick in the end. Still wasn't why it backfired at least, wouldn't have mattered if I had run up and slapped her in the face, asked her kindly in person, phoned her or what, it wouldn't have worked.
