My room was cold today so I just thought fuck it and ramped up my 3770K on all 8 threads to fold away 24/7 too since I don't game a lot anyways. Why not. On a lighter note and not on topic of folding this gal I've been getting to know really well admitted that she does indeed feel the same way as I and going to figure out where I want to go from here. Good feels all around, and I am almost excitable at fucking midnight. Splendid. I talk too much when I am excited/happy so dealwithit.

Here in CT it's been nice spring weather for a few weeks now. When I went to Maine 2 weeks ago it was nice weather up there too. (It did snow twice but it all melted anyway.)

Just started on my CPU and GPU (fx-8320 and r9 290), im going to leave it overnight at full power and check back in tomorrow...i found out about the advanced setting thing after i started, and that doesn't kick in 'till the next unit, huh? temps are currently topping out at 65-68C for both.... edit-- wow its 80 F in my room right now...better leave my windows open or ill sweat to death
That's the one advantage to lower end hardware. A cooler room. When I had a 8800GTS in my computer (Took it out since I really didn't need it) and for awhile I tried mining on it. I got a mere 20KH/s but it made my room nice and toasty. (This was during winter.)
Wow, that's a nice rig. Thanks for folding! A tip for better ppd with AMD gpu's is to run the CPU slot with one less thread than you have. This leaves 1 thread for GPU instructions. I think you will be seeing ~120k ppd after it balances out.
Thanks!, wanted to help out. Do you know how I would go about doing this? I got my settings from looking through the first few pages of the thread. edit -- currently I get just less than that with both running (just dropped from 120001 to 119084 ppd) My task manager says I'm using all 8 cores. Oh also I think my GPU is the only one that has gotten a complete WU so far, im 48 minutes from a third WU right now, my CPU is almost 6 hours away from finishing its first WU (77%), does that seem normal to you?
