I'm getting quite a few hopping around, but I'm still letting it settle out seeing as I just started folding on the 280x.
I make them when someone reminds me in the group. Otherwise I forget. Might want to post there so I remember tomorrow. What WUs? 13000, 9401, and 8018 all give different ppd.
Running on beta units the 7950 is getting anywhere from 110-150K PPD. I don't look at it often enough nor give enough fucks to know what its actually getting consistently. You probably are only getting 13000's because you aren't on the beta WUs
Hrmmm... parents wouldn't let me get the card... they don't understand... but I don't have control of my bank account :| Shit. Well then, I guess I'll be getting something else when this card dies... which it probably will, since it's overclocked and folding all day every day except during games.
My card is a full 150mhz above stock (exact 10% (1306Mhz)) and is folding/mining 24/7. If it dies I'm screwed. I bet it won't though, it's pretty rare.
stock clock for 7870's is 800MHz, sapphire overclocked it to 1050MHz, and I'm running it at 1110MHz, overvolted, and a pretty good RAM overclock I have the cash... all I need is an excuse. - - - Updated - - - I wonder if there's any way I can get my iGPU to boot up alongside the 7870. Probably not possible... but it would get 10-20k ppd. Hmm... can USB video cards be used? - - - Updated - - - Holy protein. We're in the top 1000.
why wouldnt that be possible? I have 3 monitors on my apu's gpu and one on an old geforce 8400gs in a pcie slot
I didn't realize there was just a BIOS switch to turn it back on with an external card :| Well it seems to be working. FAH client says I have like 30k more PPD than before. - - - Updated - - - (imported from here)
If you want to kill it and don't have a moral problem with it you have three options. 1) Crank it to 1.35v and max the clock 2) uninstall amd drivers to make it look like it failed and defaulted to integrated GPU, send "as parts" to me/someone on this team. (I could put it in an extra PCI-e all and fold with it) 3)unplug power connector, look like it failed, send it off like two. YEAH 1000!!!!!!! On the 327.xx drivers I manage around 100k on core_17, 50k on core_15. Now you're beating me.
Bluh. I'll probably be allowed to get another card after summer jobs and stuff. idk if it's gonna die, I mean I've been running it at those speeds for six months already. - - - Updated - - - But they let me get a triple monitor mount. Parent logic.
Tell them for triple monitor you need 2-3 280x. One per screen! I seriously doubt my card could even manage 3 720p screens. :/ Holy crap, if I could manage 3 1080p screens though. *drool
The overclocked 7870 gets 60fps on three 1080p screens with max settings for most of the games I play. Goat Simulator, BeamNG, and ETS2 all need to be toned down a bit to get to 60. Source games and Civ V get a solid 60 on max, and they're what I play the most. I'd need a new PSU and motherboard for that :L Once Broadwell is out I'm probably gonna get a 4770k, or a broadwell chip depending on what they're actually like. Along, of course, with a mobo that has at least two PCIE x16 3.0 slots.
Lucky you. I've been trying to do it with my 6550D iGPU. The BIOS just disables all iGPU settings when there's an Nvidia card in the thing. (I don't have any PCI-E ATI cards.) Also, I think there's basically no point to CPU folding for me as I'm getting a piddly 700PPD on it.
I gamed just fine on 3x1080p with my 2GB 5850. Bish pls. That card can still max Crysis 3 almost as well as my 7950 on a single 1080p panel..
I only game on 1 screen because if I hate gaming on both. With three screens you mainly look only at the center one but with two you're looking at the borders between the screens which I really hate. My 650ti has no issues with 2 screen gaming on Minecraft. (200-400FPS on near-max settings with Optifine on one screen.) EDIT: Wait a minute, how well would my 1366x768 22 inch TV work as another screen with my two 1600x900 20 inch screens?
