BeamNG uses only ~1-15% of CPU usage at 1-10 cars.

    Hey mates,

    So, I've been dealing with this problem since summer 2015 when DX11 update came out to the light. These low FPS counts have given me a lot of pains, throes and loss of nerves. I've been thinking about my GPU, that it's totally crap and other dissappointing things.
    @Nadeox1 told me that it's possibly true and I have to reinstall my Windows to be clear with that version, but it haven't turned out well or so. I've had the same FPS count, cringe face and the hand of anger.

    And today, I did discover something. My CPU uses only 1-15% of its usage for BeamNG.drive. I've tested out some various amounts of cars on the map (ECUsa), but still, the usage of CPU was galloping between 1-15% constantly. It's Isn't that weird? I suppose, it is. @ItaliAsian said to me "It's supposed to use ~16-25% of it with 1 car". 1 car. 1.

    (This pic was taken at 6 cars so.)

    (This value (14%) is unstable, so as I said before, it's galloping between as it is, like 7%, 4%, 14%, 9% etc.)

    I guess, my pc just limited the percentage of usage for BeamNG.drive or so.
    And yet, is there any way to provide high CPU usage for BeamNG?

    Sincerely, FilsFilms.

    My Specs:
    CPU: I5-4690k at 4,6 ghz;
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 660 2GB;
    RAM: 6GB 866 mhz.
    That's kinda all. :oops:

    Nope, it's not. It's around 35-40*c or so.

    CPU load % depends entirely on how much power your CPU need to simulate one vehicle.
    There is no 'normal' range of value, each CPU uses the amount it needs.

    I tried anything I could think about to help you, but none worked.
    If the software isn't doing that (As you tried a clean OS aswell), I dare to say your hardware is doing that.
    Maybe some wrong setting in the BIOS?

    Also, I recall you have a GTX660, and I recall saying that card has terrible DX11 performance, which I confirm at least from my own personal experience as I had one of them. And I also recall you said your problem started since the DirectX11 update, so..

    I really appreaciate your help and what you've done to me, mate.
    Yes, I was suspecting my GPU as a causer before that, but what if CPU causes this issue as well? However, I assume my CPU isn't that good to proccess 1 car by eating 1-2%? That's kinda wierd...

    I have a gtx 660 I could test in my system to see if I can reproduce this error. Cpu is a i5 4670k. I have 16 gb ram but can make it 8 if needed. Would it help if I did this?

    EDIT. just stuck my 660 in my system. Compared FPS with filsfilms and they are pretty close, mine are slightly lower. so that probably means it is a gpu bottleneck, seeing as how i can put a better gpu in my system and get better fps

    So yeah, it seems your GPU is in need of an update, DirectX11 support isn't strong for that one :\
