    If there was BeamNG.drive merchandise, (Shirts, Hats, Maybe stickers, Coffee cups) I would so buy a coffee cup :D

    T75 is already using this lumpy effect on the chrome :) I've just started texturing the cab, nothing much to see yet, but the really annoying part of it is done (UVing and packing).

    The effect of reflections using normal maps was a code improvement implemented recently, which affects all cars nicely :) For example the bed of the D15 now has proper reflections on all the little ribs and indents :)

    My mind is blowing how damn good these vehicles are gonna be looking. To this day I'm still impressed when catching a certain reflection with a certain
    light angle. To this day I still stop mid-game and just stare.

    Never liked the new logo, but idk. Messed around for a bit. Logotypes aren't really a strength of mine, but one of these might look good on a mug or as a sticker.

    Morning everyone :)

    Yes, buildbot is still not working yet, additionally, the steam upload feature broke and we are currently working together with valve in order to fix this up.

    These buildbot jobs are quite complex. This is the job that builds the game and commits the new executables:

    And this is the job that deploys the game to the steam SVN:
    build2.png

    and then theres the job that actually uploads it to steam, which is currently not working (not our fault i think).

    So you have to upload it to Steam SVN and then tell Steam that there is a new version? Did i understand that correctly?

    it works like this atm:

    dev commits to internal game SVN -> buildbot builds the new game executable and commits it to game svn -> buildbot runs deploy job, packs and filters content -> steam job upload the 'packaged' content to steam.

    And the final Steam Upload job fails ... huh. Is that uploading to SVN?

    The packaging is not working well yet (working on fixing the .py script up right now) and the steam upload fails on valve's end.

    Ooo, me likey this thread a lot. That's a lot of very nice updates coming into BeamNG. Epic.
    Very cool to see the new reflections following the normal maps, that's a huge improvement imho. That makes me wonder if those changes to the shader also made it easier to add a fresnel effect to the paint later on as well(no idea if that would even be possible)? Would be sick.

    Sunburst is also looking very good! :)

    Also love the Prelude you got Gabe :) Did you add the steeringwheel yourself?

    Some control over fresnel strength would go a long way to making glass look better! Unless I'm getting my terminology wrong.

    Heh, think things are easier for our project then ... we just have a build job with an obfuscator and upload that to a local SVN in the end. Not much packaging happening other than the jar files the build pukes out.
    Hope Steam gets it sorted for you.

    YES. I've been looking forward this feature for ages now, I'm currently messing with normal mapped damage textures so this should make them look a lot better. Any chance of realtime reflections coming soon?
