Yes, that is their choice though, within doing so, much hype and attention has been brought upon a mod thus, It would only be common courtesy for such modders to release their projects "as-is" to the community. There are players who are content with the scraps given to them rather than nothing but a mirage. Alongside of that, there are many other people whom if obtained enough interest, would happily finish a project in previous modder's place. So yes, it is a shame to announce promising content to the community only for it to halt with no means of release. Life happens, understandable.
Ok, everyone let's just let the modder decide what to do, but I still have a little bit of hope someone will finally come back to work at this map, It doesn't have to be the same guy, just someone new that has enough time to finish the map. I have just one question, did someone heard about the "Transmogrifier" program that can modify the game's assets? It modifies them, so then these assets can be thrown into different game. I don't know how to use it, but if someone does, can it work out with Burnout and BeamNG?
beam forums trying to act smart but literally cant read (impossible) not trying to be rude, but please, PLEASE, try to read the post before saying *never heard of it*.
I wonder.... --- Post updated --- Also, just so you know, replying to old threads is generally frowned upon. Just being friendly as I can see you created your account today ;- )
I'll try --- Post updated --- It's funny how it uses some nfsmw 2012 assets (first screenshot is burnout paradise second is need for speed most wanted 2012), makes sense since both are from criterion games. New thread https://www.beamng.com/threads/burnout-paradise-map-in-beamng.95332/
Dead like all the exciting maps, don't post progress unless you're sure that a finished map is possible. Joining the club with all the other dick teased abandoned mods.
It's being worked on right now. If you don't want to be "teased", then don't look at this thread. It's completely up to you.
Please please... some update... It's my childhood game and it's hearthwarming when I see someone mentioning it again. And now it will maybe be possible to play it in my now favourite - BeamNG. Makes me wanna cry :.) Fr just dropped a tear I'm that emotional when it comes to Burnout
