Some stupid disney employee downloaded leak of Golf MK4 full of viruses or sth and disney data got leaked
Funny... Until you realize Disney is a mega corporation who could easily crush Beam.ng if they wanted too, because of these hackers. And now the beam-team has spent 2+ weeks combing through repo mods to make sure their are no issues, instead of all working on 0.33, so Disney can't sue them. Yeah, real funny/S
But Disney won't. As previously explained, Disney would have no legal ground to stand on, and at this point, this situation is completely irrelevant. Also, how are you to say what the beam team has been doing? Why are you putting words in their mouth?
Literally every friggin time I even say something that may be slightly wrong SOMEONE just has to say something (not you in particular btw)... And they never say it in a polite way. NO it always the "your 100% wrong and I am right. I wasn't even saying something negative about them.(How do you cross out text on Beam.ng forums again?) Either way i'm sure at least a couple would have had to drop what they were doing to comb the repo instead.
yeah thats beeped but in older videos neil actually swore and it wasn't beeped out --- Post updated --- how would the sue BeamNG over a mod from 3rd party website like what
Information about the mod being from 3rd party site is unnoficial, they dont want to say that because it would turn out that they let employees download things from sus websites
it wouldn't be on a BeamNG website unless in private conversations it could've been on discord or yeah i don't really know
forgot bout that --- Post updated --- what about ALTER, should he be added? --- Post updated --- also whats the whole photos can no longer be sent in pms thing, and the whereareyou.avi
What? The Beamng developers have nothing to do with third-party sites where this mod was published and even warn that there may be viruses there and it’s better not to download anything there, if there had been a trial, Disney would have lost.
Still, Disney has enough money to bribe half of Texas. So I believe caution on Beam.ngs part is a good idea... Just in case.
BeamNG is based in Germany and this court case would probably go through EU courts if there even was a case to begin with. There really isn't anything that BeamNG would be responsible for anyways, it's like if someone put a virus in a Fallout mod and Disney tried to sue Bethesda for it, there would be no case as the only link between them and the virus was the fact that they made the game it was for. --- Post updated --- Also this is a little offtopic guys lets stick to iceberg stuff
I'm sure their safe, but you can never be sure about mega corporations with enough money to buy everyone a Lexus.
