BeamNG is officially Steam Deck Certified "Playable"

    It has 40 AI cars on the track that have to determine factors such as what line to take and when to pit and there is also damage physics

    Besides all the other stuff mentioned, how would BeamNG even get the money to do this? A Switch game has to be certified by Nintendo, and an Xbox game has to be certified by Microsoft. That costs money. They would also have to learn to convert all the game code. Guess what it takes to do that? Employees that need to be paid at least 1500 Euros (or equivalent) a month. Not happening any time soon :p

    Now go add dynamic AI, a physics skeleton which can deform individual parts of the vehicle in real time, physics which refresh 2000 times per second, a game engine which wasn't made with anything other than PC's or Windows in mind & try to run it on ARM

    I would barely call that NASCAR Heat. Its way easier for those developers, as well. Those games were made by reputable developers who have released many games over numerous platforms. BeamNG has made one game on one platform that is not even out of Alpha yet. You haven't even made a mod for the game and you are talking about how easy it is to port the game to a platform it wasn't designed for.

    OT: Steam Deck with BeamNG is something that I have been waiting for for a long time. Way to go BeamNG!

    You never explicitly said it, you have strongly suggested. If you are asking to port a game, you obviously assume it is easy. It has gotten so bad with port requests that they put it on their faq.

    The physics system in that game is 1/100th of what it is in beamng

    Take years to port the entire game, stopping all updates and development for basically no payoff. The same people begging for a port would be complaining about lack of content updates

    Lol no, none of what he said is in nascar heat. All the AI knows to do in heat is drive on a track, while beamng's ai must also account for street driving, and all types of cars.
