fixed the fact that i can't control how much throttle i give (taped my Galaxy s6 to my xbox controller) works like a charm Edit: Glad i didn't installed it on my tablet :')
the app works fine as a controller, guages dont work (its already known) but the problem im facing is that the steering is not smooth, its very jittery Details: Device: Nexus 7 second gen Android version: 5.1.1 firewall: allowed
Make sure your Windows firewall isn't blocking the game. App seems broken, we will look into that. App works sometimes, other times not. We need to look into that.
Yes it happens on my end too, my firewall closed for beamng my phone is s7 and latest android version and i bought the game from steam and i still cant connect, i hope it will be working soon
Hello there, this app is some pretty cool idea The control itself works very fine, nearly no delay, feels pretty good to steer the car The only trouble i have are the Gauges or the Dashboard, they are static. Its showing (46MPH, 2M), same like on thomatoes50's post. I know its a known Problem but i want just add my Phone specs, maybe it helps You Guys a little: Huawei mate 8, Android 6.0. I hope there will be some fix some day, but anyways this app is some cool addon to BeamNg Thank You very much! <3
Eventually. At the moment the app development is halted due internal reasons. We cannot provide dates for anything related to it for the time being.
App used to work on Windows 8.1. On fresh install of Windows 10, I can't get it to work. Samsung Galaxy S4 on 5.0.1 I allowed Beam access through the Windows Firewall, but it shows up as two entries? Weird. I tried allowing one individually as well as both. Connection always times out.
Looks like the app doesn't work with hosts behind a NAT. I've tried configuring iptables to route all traffic coming from my phone and/or ports 4444/4445 to the client but nothing seems to work. Maybe add a way to enter ip addresses manually?
It doesn't connect even though I've allowed beamNG.drive firewall access Android: CyanogenMod 12.1 - i9300 - Unofficial Samsung galaxy s3 GT-I9300 (classic)
We found some serious problems with it just now :-/ The UI update was not really working reliably at all. We'll try to improve this for the next update and update the app as well then. Sorry for the problems.
