BeamNG Drive, laggy?

    Maybe it was already suggested, but clean your CPU/VGA cooler even if temp isn't too high, I remember that Beamng started lagging, and no other game did, in the end I cleaned the cooler, because it turned out that it was running too hot. Even when the temp was "ok" the CPU started to throttle, and the result was laggy gameplay with 30 fps, it felt like there are frames missing.

    That's why there's an install folder where all of the game files are.

    Something like norton antivirus that uses a huge amount of CPU in the background

    You can go into the program files x86/steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG drive folded and use the launcher directly from there without starting up steam. It is the actual .exe not the rungameid: crap that steam puts on your desktop as a shortcut.
