I think that the dev's are using the most time to the BeamNG.Tech department, because that part is paying the most bills I think, that said, it is fustrating ;>)
I don't mean to sound critical as the delay isn't your fault, but is there any reason you don't want to upload the map to Google Drive (assuming you have a Google account) temporarily? Or any serious issues that the moderators have brought to your attention preventing them from greenlighting it on the repo? It has been at least two weeks since they told you they would try to have it uploaded. On an unrelated note, what mod is this bus from the screenshot in your second post?
I have no answer from BeamNG GmbH at all. I have asked Car_Killer two times about the state of the approval or if there are any issues. I got no answer. I even have completed an update and gave it to Car_Killer last week. No answer. I gave the project an unbelievable amount of work. What I hear is nothing. Why? The situation was similar with the release of Barben't Gambling Zone. It is a motivation killer. I am sad about that. Please, @Car_Killer / @synsol , would you be so kind telling me what is going on here and give me a signal if my work is welcome. Google Drive is not an option for me (for now) as I expect high traffic and it thus would block the download for any BeamNG team member too.
Oh, that's sad news my friend, sometimes people have their own agenda or are just very busy with their own affairs to respond...don't give up hope. Thoroughly enjoyed your latest videos of Homerange, especially the long drive, could see a high speed Rally Stage on that part of the Map...had a fantastic variation of road textures and road side objects to look at...would take me quite some time to travel it just site seeing Take care
Let's hope it will be out soon now, you deserve that big time, and I do understand it takes a while, BeamNG is a small developer, and they have to switch between BeamNG.Tech and our beloved game, and I think the first one make's more money than the second. That is sad for us, but eventualy it comes online, and then we all are happy ;>)
Not sure about what you said. They'rn't a small team, plus I do think that the game itself makes more money with the amount of purchases per week.
They have 70 people. that is not very much for such a game, and have to work on 2 different software packages, and BeamNg.TECH has very big compay's as a client. I think that part of the company makes the most money. But maybe I am wrong, only BeamNG know the truth ;>) As a comparision, SCS, makers of ETS2 and ATS have more then 1800 employers, so BeamNG do has a small team.
I've filled everything out. So it's on its way . I think we're all in the same boat when it comes to BeamNG. Playing and promoting with good content is what makes it. It's nice to see that there are so many fans!
I wonder what actually goes into approving a mod and what the quality standards are, if any. Do the devs need to actually play-test all mods on the repo?
I guess so, they need to check for viruses or NSFW files but you can do that through the zip instead of inside the game itself, but to see if the mod is repo worthy whatsoever they do need to test it
This is fantastic news 'BSGT', good luck...and I will thoroughly enjoy the fruits of your labour when it drops
It's quite long to load, though... Aaand the game froze and crashed EDIT: Okay, i'm in, but the LAG...
