Well I hit it past 130Km/h head-on causing the front end to hit the metal bar behind the rail and get caught on it.

Also any back story behind this?

All the support bars are "collisionless" for that very reason and perhaps a bit of FPS savings. The mesh for the rails are roughly 6 inches thick real word scale
so they are quite thin in the editor settings.

The guardrail destruction at that location....I believe I was thinking of a tractor trailer breach at the time.

    To Nickdeappel,

You can change the render distances for the vegetation in the groundcover object
in the level editor scene tree. I have them set pretty high at 800/550 respectively.
Try changing them to 300/200 or something like that. The changes will update
the map in realtime so you can gauge what setting works for you.

Hopefully those changes will give you a bit better framerate.

Both versions should download and install. The only difference between the two is a lot less
junk in the 153MB version. Can you be more specific on what kind of downloading trouble
    you're having?

Just had update 0.5 and the automatically install is not working for this how do you do the manually install or where does it go?
Document/BeamNG/Mods < that pathway does not work for me just to clarify before anyone tells me to do that

Sorry for the delay. I was just going to ask if anyone is having issues with 0.5 and you answered my question. At this time I am
not sure what's going on with the current mods directory scheme and need to look into it. I re-downloaded and put it zipped
into documents/mods and it ran fine last night. Any others having issues please state what they are and I will try my best
to get to the bottom of it. Thanks!

This is not the place to ask those questions. Go to a car related thread or even hit up one of the devs.

This map is really fun. Fast and technical but not too difficult. Couple of good jumps make it feel like a hi speed road rally. Well done.

V 1.5 road layout 99% done. Still lots to do, a bridge, a house or two, dirt roads, signage. Two new short
winding 'shortcut' roads and mountain noise added. Having issues with decal road clipping and skidmarks
not getting along. Settings for decal bias are incredibly tight in order for skidmarks to show or not flicker.
I don't recall having this kind of issue before.

Macro changes look great, very pleased. Changed the macro node to basic coverage and gained a bunch
    of time on builds.

    On the list:

    Minor vegetation additions/color tweaks
Guardrail..eliminating 50% adding jersey barrier in places and seeing how I can stop 'grabbing'.
    Road signs
    Couple houses with property
    Bridge
    Distance terrain

Spent a ton of time on these roads so far. They are straighter, smoother and a touch wider.
