The engines themselves are simulated by them self. So the ignition and starter sets are independent. When I am finished 3d modeling the cockpit, I want to simulate some background systems like hydraulics, electrical and fuel. In this case I will also implement switches to ignition and fathering the propeller. So that you could handle an engine out like in the real world. It is just a lot of work and lua can sometimes be a bitch to work with. Currently I try to let the engines start up again after spawning, it works but only when in slow motion, the inertia of the propellers are just too big and the normal game systems are probably not designed for this. --- Post updated --- Yeah that is something I will look into, it was just a combination of a lot of things. If you look at the video, the high speeds created huge drag forces yawing the plane and pitching the plane too, all that combined just broke the Connection to the fuselage. In the rework the center wing structure with the nacelles will be one part. It will improve the realism and improve overall performance.

In the rework the center wing structure with the nacelles will be one part. It will improve the realism and improve overall performance. It is all old code, with fixes for the brakes and added fathering and speed control for the propellers. Like I said, because I change the propellers the inertia is just too high for the current game code that is responsible for reloading the plane with its engines on. Not going to change the propeller, they are reacting just like they should. I would just let it be like it is, but sometimes people have problems with the startup or won’t read the overview page and are just stuck with a plane that is not moving
Did you start the engines with the key “V” , keep holding it till the engine rpm doesn’t rise anymore and release the key.
My engines don't start either. They don't even try and also when the plane spawns my ignition UI goes away. Ive cleared my cache and tried with this mod as the only one installed.
Maybe you downloaded the mod weirdly and it's corrupted? Because usually that's what happens when a mod is downloaded incorrectly. Try reinstalling.
Because I didn’t want to write that the 50th time Before asking why the mod does not work. Start the engines by activating the starter with the key “V” by pressing and holding in for a few seconds till the Engine rpm stabilizes.
That is the plan, it will not be fully interactive but I want to integrate at least the most important elements. I need to see what I can accomplish, sometimes I am just able to program what I envisioned and sometimes it doesn’t work out no matter what I try
Try deleting the mod from beamng panel (unsubscribe), close the game, then delete every trace of this mod from the files (C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.31\mods\). Clear the cache, using the second option. By second option i mean deep cache clear, tho i dont know if it's called like that in English, because i have another language. And then try subscribing it again.
Aw crud, why didn't I think of clearing my cache  Not at my PC at the moment, but I will check back later once I am.
