The Golf and Polo did look kinda similar so maybe that’s where the misconception is.

that's an Mk3 tho, the Bete is mostly based on the 90-94 facelift of the Mk2

I could see the coupe Bete be confused for a Corrado or Scirocco, but a Golf? Just look at the side/rear view

There are a couple MK2 polos in america now, i just sent the mk3 for "look its in america" purposes
The earlier polos are more similar to earlier scirroccos, but not really to the corrado to be honest that one is vastly chunkier and only related to them by the general late 80's early 90's vw aesthetic
However, the first polo did look a lot like a mini mk1 golf.

I went completely off track but yeah the mk2 polo is way far from a mk1 golf, if the bete was an mk1 i'd understand it

Yeah. The base model headlights on the mk2 golf were square, which makes them pretty similar

 

Hello, I want to change the texture of the existing air freshners. I attempted to do that by creating my own .png of the desired image, resizing it to 1024x1024 (just like the image I'm about to replace) and replacing an existing file. I named my .png "etkhatch_airfreshener_7_b.color.png" to replace the original, and saved the changes. Now, when I loaded the game, there was no car thumbnail, it was simply named etkhatch and any attempt to load an Astro would fail because the car would not load. What is the proper way to introduce my own air freshner designs to this mod? My .png in question is below:

EDIT: Also, I have acquired a 1.9D Volkswagen diesel mod script from a Škoda 1203 BeamNG forum. Any way to make it work with this AW Astro?

the square headlights were found on the US version and the Jetta, and most likely an option as well.

because ETK is an upscale German brand so he made a new company that is cheaper like VW. (AW)

its an slightly older mod, and it will need to be largely reworked to get this. Plus they are making other mods and prob doesnt got time to fix this, even if we wanted it
