I learnt to drive in my mums 308sw when I was 12 or 13. Even the sw variant wasnt big enough for our family in the end so we sold it.
i have an 87 porsche 944 with a 5 speed manual transmission i preffer it over an automatic transmission because u get more controll with a manual especially when theres a clutch
My 1975 Ford mustang ll and my buick both have an automatic, the douce because i found it like that, and the Buick because its no longer a buick with a three speed Manuel, but my Rat Rod has a Muncie.
Wow, you bumped a post from almost 2 years ago! OT: Manual all the way! Why? Manuals are cheaper and easier to maintain as parts and servicing usually cost less than an automatic Manuals cost less than a automatic equipped vehicle Your car is less likely to get stolen by thieves as they most likely don't drive a manual The auto I would only drive is a DCT.
I'd take a automatic in city traffic. Driving with a manual car in the city is absolute hell. Especially in stop and go traffic.
I have a 1956 Willys Pickup with a hell of a doggy 3-speed manual and a 1995 Jeep Cherokee XJ with a 5-speed manual.
Doesnt work here. You do your drivers lessons and tests in a manual in UK, otherwise you arent allowed a full license. Most of EU is like this too with some countries having no way to take a test in an automatic at all.
wow, here in the US most people cant even drive a manual, (i learned when i was 14) OT: My 1970 Elcamino is automatic My 1988 foxbody mustang is a 5 speed manual.
MANUAL Mad Awesome Not bad Underrated Awesome Like it please --- Post updated --- ur lucky. In the US most people have no idea how to drive stick. They don't make it mandatory and DISCOURAGE learning it.
As we pretty much don't have autos in France, I can't really compare the two. But manuals, with no hesitation, you won't get rid of my clutch pedal
