Ok then... here goes... Here is an updated electrics file (from the latest version 0.3.7.6) with Davidbc's Hazards on impact script file. I only have the hazards on impact in this file. Original File: Davidbc Update: Me (svpracer)
I updated it for the current version of BeamNG. This activates the hazards under heavy braking over 50 MPH and/or if there is a moderate collision.
This should be fairly simple to fix. Add a timer to wait like half a second after a car is spawned to check for 18 Gs.
does anyone know if lua commands work across multiple files? Im trying to integrate the electrics hazards into the brake on impact lua file.
The brake on impact is part of the car's esc and not every car has esc. I updated the electrics lua for the current version of BeamNG. This activates the hazards if there is a moderate collision.
FOUND A BUG-- when i put it in the Vehicles folder and overwritten the LUA, When i went into the game it said fatal exception in vehicle, please reset the vehicle. all the indicator lights and stuff were black, there was no sound, it showed on the tachometer RPM RPM (not a typing error, what it actually said) 0 WHEELSPEED 0 AIRSPEED. HELPPPP
That is because this is a 4 year old mod that is outdated. Try to be careful when posting as bumping threads is highly frowned upon here.
Hey,I know this post is sooo old,but if you can make an updated version of this for 0.11 version that would be great,now it just gives some fatal errors.
It's not possible, author was last seen 2015, sooo... Also don't bump old threads. It makes other new users that it's back alive and they are posting there.
