you should update the mod description saying that you don't plan on making export versions for the Americas or Japan, but that in the future, you might make a right-hand drive export version for the U.K.
Solved it, the shocks were in fact too stiff for the car's weight, I set the rear dampening to 350 and the rear behaves normally now
I feel like the maximum safe g before oil starvation could be increased slightly, as the engine is starved of oil during hard braking
Wonderful mod. Looks and drives so well. I have one little nitpick though. The a pillar seems very thick. Kind of unusual for 70s car, also it takes away from the cars’s elegance.
Thats it! I love the mod but when looking at it something just didn't sit right and I think that's it. The space at the bottoms alright, but it doesn't quite reach the edges of the A-pillars or the ridgeline of the roof so it weirdly ends up like when people photoshop peoples faces smaller on their heads. You can tell somethings odd, but not quite what.
that's by design, the IRL 127 and many lower-end cars of that era had just one indicator light that lit up with either signal and for comparison, my 2010 twingo also has only one dash indicator light I'll check out the shocks, I had a suspicion they might be at fault but I suck at suspension tuning thanks for testing that out! turns out that's because the oil pan nodes got misaligned somehow and it acted like the engine was at a 20 degree angle, should be fixed next update yeah, I guess that's what you get when you design a car by yourself with next to no design knowledge lol well, the models are pretty much done now so not much I can do in that regard think of it as a design feature
Will you also fix the indicator bug where if you activate them, only once do the indicators flash correctly and the rest of the flashes just show the particle effect until the very last moment? Like this but then for a very short second it shows the actual effect of the indicator last minute? (Yes, the indicator is on)
honestly i am unsure as to what causes this bug I've tested in on different maps and with different amount of car spawned and it seems like it just appears at random I think it might just be a game issue?
I've had this happening consistently. Maybe it's framerate related? I was definitely not hitting anywhere close to 60 on Italy.
I've hopped onto Gridmap today and I can confirm that it seems to be caused by framerate. All blinkers turn wonky when you dip below 40 FPS.
