HIgh speed constant rpm's ? Anyway, you noticed before, right ? I just want to point out it didn't occur in 0.18.4 .

Here's 0.18.4 with my custom deep tone exhaust sound which is.. heavy. ( I wasn't prepared for driving )

 

Any ETA on Fmod banks?

 

RE transmission noises. On vehicles such as the T series dump truck, the Wentward bus and other heavy vehicles.. the transmission makes nearly as much noise as the engine.

(an exaggerated example) can't find any garbage truck noises but you must know the general noise, lots of whining from transmissions and hydraulic pumps, very little noise is just the engine. Sure we don't have a garbage truck sim here, but the transmission whine would be nice

 

Thought I'd ask, what does the "voices" option in the settings change? I assume it's related to how many sounds are able to be played at once?

 

Well you change that to "good" and "will" and report back.

 

What quality setting are you referring to? Sorry for the really late response, I didn't have the game in 2017 and only started looking at this thread since about 0.16

 

On Italy, the airport doesn't have any echo under the shade in the parking lot as well as the "arrivi"

 

I don't think there would be an echo noise IRL, as it is quite open to the air.

 

It would, especially if the gas station shade things in game have an echo

 

The gas stations in-game on the Italy map don't have an echo noise... And in every fuel pump/station I've been to, there is never an echo noise. Even large ones don't echo. Speaking of the airport areas in the Italy map, there shouldn't be an echo noise. Think about it; there is little for the sound waves to reflect from, in both the fuel pumps and the parking areas. If anything it would ruin the immersion, as it would be unrealistic compared to real life. Just my thoughts.

 

I don't know if this exactly goes here, but I prefer the old engine sound for the Bolide. I had it with a mod until I recently updated my mods so one would work, and now the engine sound for the Bolide is updated. Is there any way I can get it back?

 

Just go in whichever bolide engine file and replace V8_flat_exhaust with V8_2. If that's what sound you are referring to. just make sure the engine is V8_cross_engine so it sounds right

I have noticed that it is kind of difficult to hear the unmuffled sound in some engines and exhausts when using the muffling slider in the Engine Audio Debug App, such as the I4D_engine, I4D_exhaust, I5_engine, V8_cross_engine, V6_2_engine, etc. Though I can hear it fine in other engines/exhausts such as I4_2_engine, I4_2_exhaust, V8_cross_exhaust,etc
