If you are getting a heavy haul truck, go for a Kenworth or Western Star Both have 625 HP Cat "King of the Hill" engine options with copious amounts of torque Both have 3 rear axle options Both are known for heavy hauling IRL So, I would recommend the W900 personally Have used it for so many jobs, its never had trouble moving just about anything
I normally use a Western Star 49x customized with about $100,000 in aftermarket parts I like Western Star's trucks' designs. (Totally not because they are our town maintenance vehicles) --- Post updated --- Good news! I now own a Kenworth W900 with a CAT "King of the Hill" engine! It also has a sleeper (forgot what size)! (down to 11,000 bucks ) Funny thing is, I own the Seattle garage which is right next to the Kenworth factory. (very cheap delivery fees ) Will post photos when I get to my garage (currently doing a mission from Idaho Falls to Portland)
not really personally but both games were made by SCS Software there might be some repetitive models or sth
I've never gotten full damage but did get 90% twice, once on the center guard rails on I-80 in CA (reloaded my save after that one, who thought putting it on the yellow line would be a good idea?) and after losing control trying to make a late delivery on a mountain road (but still drove it to the repair shop after a lot of attempted engine starts). Also, obligatory ats moment:
my ats profile is loaded, consisting of at least 15 garages and a super badass KW 100th anniversary sleeper with a king of the hill engine.
Yeah, but it’s still cool I suspect that Kansas will release at the same time this new truck and update 1.49 is released
Yeah! (I actually wanted to save the money for my driver's license (which is sh!tty expensive here in Germany), but who needs a driver's license when you got driving games?)
I would play ATS more if it wasn't for the desert scenery most of the time, I prefer greener scenery. (Hence the reason why I have Washington, Oregon, and Idaho) I usually only play on my modded account with cheats on it, just so I can explore the map and try out trucks, mods, and drive with no limits. My other non-modded account had like 10,000 after buying a green truck, which I promptly crashed soon after I bought it. I haven't been on that account since.
Yoooo they just posted a Kansas gameplay trailer Possible release this week or next week? --- Post updated --- Also, some news! In ATS in bought a new 2014 VNL and I now have hired my first employee!
I tested out a strategy today: For events like the Halloween event, where you just have to go 100 miles or more, just go slightly more than 100 miles. If you really wanted money, just do a longer delivery of cars or something else fragile. It also works for events like the Oklahoma deliveries because you don’t have to leave the state at all (or country in the case of ETS2)
