Yes, while making a biarticulated version, I'm keeping in mind the splitting of sections into separate vehicles and making it possible to have any number of sections.
Isn't the beam limit 10,000? I don't see how you're going to stay under that, considering the normal articulated version already has 8,500. Unless you make each section a separate vehicle, as you just said.
I've hit 10.000 beams limint for the first time in 2014 with my C4 Picasso model, then if I'm not mistaken this limit was lifted up at some point. Generally there are no direct correlation of size and jbeam complexity. Jbeam of Belaz can actually be quite simple really.
The dual split bus that one with 3 sections will be quite interesting to drive and how it will feel when turning a corner because of the what something like 80 foot length of it...
closer to 90-100ft as the current version is already wayy to long. While it is supposed to be 60ft, it is most likely about 80.
It's 107 feet long and surprisingly driveable. I'm testing it by AI driving in West Coast map, but my personal faworite for driving it is American Roads mod.
I would ask for a Private copy of the mod but I feel thats entirely wrong of me to do that I probably wouldnt Beta Test it right for you....I would go around and jump it and crash it
I'm planning to release 0.1.3 version on Monday - there are still some things to polish, like missing textures on middle frame, non-existent exhaust pipe, etc.
Yeah, that's was kind of a known issue, because bi-articulated version takes 9994 beams, while front bellows component is shared with single-articulated one. I guess it is not enough to make a release note about that, and I have to add a separate copy of component for bi-articulated variant just to disable selection of "Advanced simulation" there.
i can confirm that it crashes when loading in the bi-articulated version. some things need to be either removed or changed to make it work without it being on the edge of crashing the game. and i really think the bellows are the true problem. i guess you were probably a little overconfident with that. it happens to all of us when making something.
The 2 section bus is broken at the moment its due to the joiner bit in the middle but the triple length bus actually works for me
