Is there a way to prevent stuff like the monster truck becoming one with the crush car? NOTE: The truck's wheels aren't actually going 66 MPH, the apps in BeamNG sometimes freeze when there's more than one car in a map. Don't know why that is.
if anyone wants a tune, then here it is, this video should give you an idea of how it drives, I wanted my truck to drive in a similar manner that the real MaxD drives and I think I accomplished my goal
Thank you. This is MUCH appreciated. All I hear is how "bad" the truck supposedly drives... How "slow" it is... The default settings are PURPOSELY conservative/balanced, tuning options were included for this very reason... Yet no one uses them...
Sounds good! I do have a problem as far as the controller bindings go; I set my rear steering controls for B and Y (for an Xbox 360 controller) and the rear steering doesn't budge. Would I have to set the G and H functions for the B and Y buttons as well?
Simple enough, but colorable elements would require a thorough redesign of the skin system in place. Not worth it, IMO.

And lets say if I wanted to change the PC files manually (seeing as how the menus are absolutely slow on my computer), would I have to change "CRD_linked_steering_R" to "CRD_independent_steering_R" or something equivalent? Edit 8/24/17 7:40 PM - actually, can you help me change the default to independent steering without having to wait 2 minutes for the menus to open?
It could be because apparently my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for BeamNG, or it could be because I'm using a virtual machine. I did notice it would take a while, but I used the 2 minutes as like an example. If there is a map with a lot of cars on there, the menus and the UI itself would be really slow. Strangely enough, though, it took a while when I was on ATE Stadium. When I went to Grid Small Pure, it didn't take long.
Some maps that have a lot of materials on them take a little bit longer to load up, or its your computer. My computer (im on a laptop rn) takes like 15 seconds to load a vehicle, and its a windows 10 computer. About 50 mods I have installed. I would say its your computer, probably with your graphics card or something like that
