Can we have a thread just for downloads? No one will be able to keep track of where all the tracks and skin packs are.

Well, we have dedicated threads and even a whole public group for that, this group was meant to be more of a testing corner for the main mod.

I really like the RC4 version. There are only two slight problems that I think should be tuned. 1. being the engine overheats way too quickly and 2. there is a lot of exhaust smoke. I don't think that a real monster truck puts out that much smoke. Other than those things this mod just keeps getting better! :)

It really is. Its cheap and arcadey.

if there was backfire (like actual truck have), i'd be even more ok with the smoke. and as a long time MJ video game fan, i can say that MJ:CI is a really cheaply made game, hell, Monster Truck Destruction had more effort put into it and it was a MOBILE GAME

@f2ys Are you going to be tuning how fast the engine overheats in the next update?

Maybe, although I don't think it's too quick as of now.

seems fine to me. i only managed to overheat my system by maxing out the supercharger and getting stuck so that the wheels didn't move.

Nevermind when I test it on a different track the overheating is fine. But I still think there is too much exhaust smoke but that could just be me.

Because wide open throttle, red lined, and less airflow through radiator. Also, if you have supercharger cranked up, it will overheat much faster.

But don't worry - eventually, if you do donuts long enough, the exhaust will catch fire, and the truck will burst into flames.(maybe)

It takes about 40 seconds of full-throttle, uninterrupted donuts for coolant to overheat (stock engine), and then about 5-10 seconds more for piston rings to become permanently damaged. Cylinder walls can then melt any moment.

That's some serious abuse in my book.

make it about 1 minute on stock before overheating. should be fine then.

I didn't have any overheating problems, only problems i'm having are due to the weight of the truck and thus lack of necessary power. @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL could we get another couple motors producing 1750HP and 2000HP please?

Can't, radiator efficiency is an index, increasing the index increases efficiency exponentially.

I can't just crank it up and call it a day, even a fractionally more efficient radiator would basically prevent coolant from overheating, rendering the whole engine thermals subsystem quite redundant.

You can tune the supercharger (gearing and pressure per RPM), peak output is around 2150HP if I remember correctly.
