Well, it looks like I used "you're" instead of "your", so - oops. I was being serious, sometimes a smartass comment back is funny. idk, and in any event, I don't think he meant any harm by it. I am 47.
Oh that explains it, you sounded a bit like a kid who just got access to Internet for the first time and laughs at swear words lol, no offense. Sorry for thinking that.
That is so funny! I kind of am like a kid, most days...so, you weren't too far off the mark LOL. Anyways, no worries
KingPig I'm sorry for my response I was way out of line to sound like a 11 with a microphone, I do apologize and It will not happen again
It's coming very soon, i'm close to the end of the update. Progress is slow because as said before, not a lot of free time, but it's on the good way
I like doing stuff that takes place in the 80s and 90s so its cool to have older cars like that, given that those cars were easy to find
good luck @SergentFido best mod i know that i had when i found out that the mod has outdated i was like what
I learned to drive in those types of cars (1981 Buick LeSabre) so they are of special significance to me. This was back in the good old days when I could start taking the driver's ed course in high school (classroom portion) on my 15th birthday (Feb 23, 1982). Upon completion... go to DMV and get my learner's permit to drive with Mom or Dad in the car (Apr 5, 1982), and when 15.5 and forward, could take the behind the wheel driver's ed (Oct 1982)-- which I did in a 1971 Chevy Nova, where the instructor had a brake pedal on the passenger side floor. Tested for my license on my exact 16th birthday (Feb 23, 1983); after school... and 30 minutes later, drove the car by myself to my friends house. We went out and cruised around in aforementioned 1981 Buick LeSabre. Back in the days where you didn't have to wait until you were 18 to drive your friends around. I miss the 80's. I hear they are so much stricter with young drivers today. I guess I got by just in time. Different generation, different times. ::Sigh::
Was so enjoyable to read this! I went through roughly the same experience in FL, except my 15.5th year was early 1989. As soon as my 16th birthday hit, I got my actual license. I really miss the 80's sometimes, even the late 70's which I do have some memory of - my single mom loved the disco scene, for example, and partied like super heavy, lots of interesting friends around the house. We lived in Toledo/Detroit area all the way through the mid-80's, about when Madonna, Bon Jovi, Huey Lewis, et al, were really hitting the charts, we moved to FL (then I moved back here to Toledo in 1998). I still call any new music from an artist their "new album", or "new LP", all the way through cassette tapes, then CDs, etc. still call it an "album". If I record something from the TV, I still say "I'm taping it"....wow, fun stuff. Was around when people used to still sound out the entire "Rhythm & Blues" before it turned exclusively into just "R&B". I was alive when news outlets observed the Fairness Doctrine - now it's "pick your own truth" anymore, so disgusting - but whatever. Anyway, these 1980 cars really kind of take me back to just easy non-complicated living - where "luxury" living just meant you owned an air-conditioner (which we didn't until FL), and a luxury car just 'rode nice' and had air conditioning/power steering/brakes/windows. I still think those simple things are luxury items - billions of people still living without them, and without something as simple as clean water. Messed up world, huh?
Glad to hear it! Unfortunately nowadays some people(even some people on this very forum) even want to ban driving altogether and make people being driven by autonomous vehicles.
Yes, I try to keep politics out of it but... that’s BS! --- Post updated --- I see you and I come from about the same perspective. Cool.
