Hello folks, I've got an update, minor progress in back of the car (again with help from folks at MFD for the wheelarch). (note: topology is a bit skrunkly as it is still is progress and not perfected!) hopefully can get some more progress done, I'm hoping for a completion of the shell within a few days. Edit: extra minor thing, the Vanden Plas name will be replaced with Laurus Nobilis which is a type of plant. MG naming is currently being figured out Edit 2: MG is now going to be OM
I wouldn't want to add something overly hyped or expected (eg another japanese saloon) when there can be more niche stuff to be made
Nice to see this. My Grandad had a 1991 Austin Montego Countryman diesel. Went pretty well for a car with only 80-something horsepower. Lots of low down diesel torque I guess. It dissolved into a pile of rust by the time it was about 12 years old. I remember poking my toes through the floor carpet as it was the only thing between my feet and the road at that point! I also remember that the dashboard used to shake like crazy every time we went over a bump but the boot (trunk for you Americans) was huge. It had 2 rear facing seats in the back that would make it into a 7 seater.
Cool! The reason it moved quick is these things are as light as Lotus Elises (somehow) (edit, the new ones). The dashboard shaking was meant to be fixed with the second version of the dash lol
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Officine_Meccaniche?wprov=sfla1 OM was actually a real italian car company, so you might reconsider the naming. I wonder what OM stands for in this case?
Oxford Motor Engineering Industries ( OMEI) ? Just OME feels too empty , also , perhaps invent a New city name ?
As stated in the original I may do a van body, the van lights will definitely be there. it might also come as a later update. I'd like to do it as we have 0 of those weird little van-strapped-to-a-hatchback things for beamng --- Post updated --- Daily progress, I'm finding myself in a situation where I'd definitely appreciate communication with someone more familiar with modelling as this weird rear area where British Leyland used the wrong white powder in their tea is an utter pain. Otherwise, the shell is pretty close to 'complete' (it DEFINITELY needs cleaning up)
Will be there a unmarked police config? Like this Or a police config inspired to Driv3r? (P.s. I know it's a Clio mk2, I mean the beacon light bar in that way for unmarked config) --- Post updated --- So cute!!

I'm probably going to do these unwieldly police cars Britain somehow deemed acceptable I can't find any unmarked Maestros (not a shocker, they're slow) so I'm not going to include one, people can make them if they want.
No real news today, cleaned the topology up a tad and began finishing the front bumper. The model will have a full shell soon
