With the popular A110 in Alpine's current fleet, they looked to extend it. So they desinged a retake on the Alpine A310, a less well known Alpine model which looked like a mini blue Ferrari. They also designed a new engine specifically for this car. A 1.9 litre 3-pot turbo was installed revving up to 9,500rpm, roviding a glorious soundtrack.
The car came in three specifications...
Misato: The base model, this harks back to the Alpine A310 original for. Sleek bodywork, and a beautiful blue colour, it tops out at 310 bhp and is a fine car to drive on country roads. A rival to the Alfa 4C or Subaru BRZ.
GT19: The tuned version, this one adds a rear wing and an extra 80 hp, with a striking silver and orange colour. This is a great car to throw around the circuit with and is the headline of the A310 lineup. A rival to the Supra or Porsche Cayman.
GP23: The raw circuit racing spec, with input from legendary Grand Prix racer Fernando Alonso (with his #14 on the car) this one adds a HUMONGUS rear wing, side skirts and a front splitter, removes the passenger seat, power steering and all the creature comforts. Oh and did I mention the new engine. Still a 3-pot turbo, but now with titanium conrods, a turbo putting out 2.8 psi, top speeds of 370 kmh, over 10K rpm and 800+ horsepower with all new tyres and an advanced traction control system to help it keep to the ground. A rival to the Aston Vulcan or Ferrari FXXK
