a question for devs

i was just wondering if there was any possible way for a feature for ai or even just in general where the car can read or see the lane lines on a map instead of going based off decal road paths. cause i feel that would take the stress away from the fact that you don't have to worry about the ai paths being messed up cause the ai would just automatically read those lane lines. it would probably ease a little bit of stress at least in my opinion for people who want to make maps but not have to worry about messing something up big time.
that would kinda fix the problem we face with west coast in some situations where they drive down the middle of the highway unrealistically.
