fair lol, fell in love with their nforce along time ago and have liked most products especially the sirens they make, kinda sucks since i live in the uk and we dont really get them other than the mpowers used for unmarked cars lol
Ever since about November, I've been having issues with the textures regarding the wheels. Regardless of what colour they're supposed to be, they always end up flat white like this. I've cleared the cache multiple times since having this problem and before loading every updated version since November, yet the problem persists. I believed it to be a mod conflict, yet I will still have this issue with all types of Crown Vic wheels after disabling every repo mod related to this car. I'm kind of at a loss on how to resolve this myself as frankly, I have no clue where to even begin trying to fix it. If anyone knows what's wrong and/or having the same problem, let me know. I also want to state that this is the third time I've brought this issue up here since it started and each time prior, I've been ignored. An actual response this time would be greatly appreciated.
My question is when exactly was the Arjent discontinued? For example, LA County began to use Valors when the '16 FPIUs entered service.
If you disable your mods, you have to clear your cache after you disable your mods for it to make a difference. I myself can't do a whole lot to troubleshoot this issue, which appears to happen to people when they use multiplayer. I don't play with any mods other than the Crown Victoria, and have never once had issues with my wheels or badges. That's why you've never had an response for me. Not much I can do to help without looking at it myself. What errors show up in your games console? What other mods do you have that are "Ford" products? They might use a material with the same name which cause conflicts? The Arjent was removed from their product page around Feb, 2011. The Valor was added to their product page around then too.
Like I stated in my original post, I've cleared the cache repeatedly with the mod activated, deactivated, uninstalled, etc. to cover all my bases and I'm still having the issue. I only go out of my way to make a post about an issue on the forums if clearing the cache doesn't resolve the problem. The only other Ford mods I have are the Ford Falcon XB and a 2005 Mustang mod from here on the repo, although I've had both of them active long before I started having issues with the Crown Vic so I've ruled them out as being the source of the conflict. I've never bothered much with BeamMP either and as for the console, I've never had anything pop up regarding a conflict, at least for anything Ford-related. though I'm still yet to check in the console for the conflict....mainly since I gotta figure out where I have to check for that, specifically. In my experience, the game is anything but straightforward when you want to open it up to figure out what's gone wrong.
Clear cache, remove all mods except for the Crown Victoria mod, then run the game & see if it still happens. If it all looks good, there's a conflict somewhere in your mods.
Man this is a really good and solid mod. It's quite useful for career actually besides the brakes fading going down hill with a load but it's fun! Also how do I get it to spawn in regular traffic and keep it like that? I only have a couple mods that do it. --- Post updated --- Also it was the first mod I picked up!
I LOVE the paint feature in career mode having body panels be primer only. Kind of makes it look really cool! For the brakes fading? I've gone through all the types and made their sizes correlate to IRL specs. I can up the strength/durability of them for the next update? I know I had to do this for the Radiator as it was overheating a bit too easily for lots of people.
I actually don't mind the break fade. It's realistic for a car to do that down hill with loads especially a crown. I could see you make another dev quality like vehicle in the future! Maybe something forgotten from the past, but great mod
