haven't played this mod (or beam really) for a good while, but im pretty sure the default for sirens is shift+n
can someone help me out on how getting this mod, i cant figure out what to do after downloading the zip file!
Press Win + R, type "%appdata%" go to Roaming or Local (I don't know) until you find BeamNG.drive click on it, and you should find the folder called "mods" click on it, and put the zip file inside the folder. I might be incorrect so take info with grain of salt.
Welcome to the forums. Copy the mod and paste it into this path: C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.31\mods
can you be a little more specific, unless im too dumb to understand this basic stuff... i dont even see "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.31\mods" in my folder(s)
Open the launcher, click 'Manage User Folder', then click 'Open in Explorer'. From there, open the mods folder & put the file in there. --- Post updated --- Sorry, those are outside the scope of my current abilities.
You will need to enable [spawn mods] in the AI traffic settings, then it should spawn with traffic as of 0.30.1
Any progress for the next update on this mod? I'm really looking forward to seeing an FS Arjent S2 in this beezy.
Where can I find the template to create my own skin? First time trying this and I have some ideas for home town skins that don't seem to be made by anyone else yet. Thanks!
To be honest, I don't even know what a UV map is. I have just been editing the .dds files in paint.net. The problem is that the completed skins do not show the vehicle boundaries. I changed the color of the state trooper skin that was included with this mod because I liked the darker Michigan State Police blue color. Honestly I would've changed that one to MSP but again, I don't know where the vehicle boundaries are. EDIT: I looked up what a UV map is. I guess that's what I've been using to create them? But I don't know what file work would need to be done.
