I would suggest you to use the old coupe.zip JBeam to start with building the JBeam especially the openable trunk, openable doors + hood and popup headlights.
F*ck the realism, it’s your mod. Want to make a rotary japanese corvette? Do it! I’m tired of people always wanting the most bland boring consumer car even if they can be realistic at times. About time I see someone thinking outside the box
I think that if you really want to have no V8 option, you shouldn't rebadge it as a Vendetta/Corvette. IRL, General Motors (Chevy's parent company) wouldn't let any of it's U.S. brands make anything faster/better than the Corvette, because it was supposed to be the ultimate American car. If you really want to make a U.S. rebadge, you should either give it the Gavril 4.5, 5.5, and/or 6.9 V8s, or rebadge it as something else (I believe the C5 is much bigger than this IRL, so I would go with the latter)
i reccomend in order to make it distinct from the corvette while still keeping the corvette influence is to instead of a 2 rectangle front end is to make it a 3 rectangle front end shortening the other 2 and adding a 3rd taller one in the middle since it seems like alot of late 90s japanese sports cars had a center rectangle cutout
no, ive already said im not going to, i designed it to be Japanese, so if it was a Gavril a rotary would not make sense, nither would its chassis
I think a center vent could help with separating it from the Corvette while still keeping it clearly based on the corvette
I think a good idea for a U.S. rebadge could be a "baby" Vendetta/Corvette (Similar to the Dodge Copperhead, a "baby" Viper concept). Also, I'd love a topless version; I'm a sucker for T-tops, so that would be nice. A folding hardtop would be cool for the facelift version, but it would be hard to make it work (It has been done before, though, so you could see if someone who knows how to do it wants to help).
there is no room on the front for a center vent, and the front was inspired by 90s Mazdas hence the resemblance that would be cool yeah, ill see what i can do and if im able to do it
Plot twist : it's actually a gavril Vedentta, Hirochi Just brought a license to produce it with I4, I6 and rotary instead of V8
GM already licensed and built rotaries though, and the chassis is just a corvette so idk how that doesnt work in your mind
