posted an update, hopefully fixing the exploding when uneqipping the backlight, adjusted the bed area jbeam some more, repositioned some props, and fixed a few other issues that were discovered. hi-lo transfercase should be mappable to a controller too now.
im gonna buy this --- Post updated --- i bought it now i need to test all the 1980s sport ute mods that i have and see whats the best --- Post updated --- i love the mod so far but i have one suggestion change the run span from 91-95 to 88-95 so it has more of a reason to be running on the 88-91 pessima chassis kinda like the 2nd gen subaru brat --- Post updated --- that and an mph gauge cluster
This is pretty darn awesome. I wonder if this uses enough vanilla parts to where it's at least decently compatible with parts from Kalico's Yamato Crescendo mod, similar to how I found the Pessima Coupe from Kueso's KLJP mod is compatible...because I'd love to make build a sporty and luxurious Yamato version.
ok it has been planned for a while, already have a rough model for both a bed cover and a canopy rhd is going to be added, that is why i made the metric gauge cluster the years might change, as none of the configs are quite final anyway, the idea was that it was going to start later into the pessimas life cycle and then go on a bit longer, just like the baja and some of the weird softroader variants of the 4th gen mazda 626, which were made until like the late 90s, though the decision was not really based off of any one car and figuring out the lore hasn't been that much of a priority so far, it might get sorted and make more sense later and yeah, it'll get selectable gauge clusters including imperial variants they are, in fact, already supported everything until the rear doors just uses the regular pessima slots, so every mod part that does the same will work probably not, as to do that right you need an entire new engine model, a new set of gauges, transmissions, etc. and that is not something im interested in doing, moreover i don't think an anemic early 90s diesel is something that would be particularly fitting for a car thats supposed to be more of a fun lifestyle vehicle/sports ute, not a true utlity vehicle
It looks like the Hirochi RUSH/120/ Bruckell Champion has a successor I find this mod cool, keep the progress like you Can
