Working really good, havent looked in to the jbeams myself yet, and havent driven too far, my wonder is, what are the difference between the first locked diff and the second lock diff? For me it's open-locked-locked when im cycling T, i notice a small difference between locked - locked, but i was in a hurry so I didnt look into it. What are the differences?
WOW this is amazing! so much fun to drive the double trailer through the off-roading areas and what not. haha. As a matter of fact, I think this is the first vehicle mod i have installed where I haven't attempted to crash it. It's just fun trying to drive this without damaging any parts of it. Also the cruise control system is brilliant. All others who use a keyboard, like me, will agree with that. But one minor thing i noticed is how speed is calculated when driving the 2 trailer version. Notice on the far right in the speedometer, it says I'm traveling at 19 MPH, but the wheelsdebug app on the far left says the tires are moving at 38 mph, except for 4 tires on the trailer that show it traveling at -39 mph. just a minor bug but hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to fix.
I gotta say, this thing is great. thank you for creating this amazing machine. however it does puzzle me that it dosent have more presets. like say 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 configurations, you could kill many stones with one bird by allowing it cover more classes, although you would have to change the name from "8x8 utility truck" to something more fitting of a truck with multiple axle configurations, for example something like:"Jalkku c78" as the truck, with comfigurations like : "4x4 box" "6x6 box" "8x8 box" then "4x4 box w/trailer" "6x6 box w/trailer" etc etc... also, i noticed the flatbed fifth-wheel trailer isn't in any of the presets, nor is the empty log trailer, they can be added with the mod menu ofcourse, but it seems odd that they arnt in the presets. now, don't take this the wrong way, this is an exalant mod and im enjoying the hell out of it! just a small suggestion is all. also, I had to do the one thing everyone was probably thinking, closing speed was 96mph: No big surprise really, the 8x8s (or in this case 6x6s) frame is well above the height of the T75s, but it had to be done
Could you please instead of saying "it crashes my game" say "it crashes my game, here's the error log so you can do something about it dear author!" I myself cannot reproduce the crash, and the one log I've received so far didn't help unfortunately. So please, post your error log so I can try to fix it.
Moi, I really like this truck, it feels well made, the jbeam works just about flawflessly, though I got some questions on development. Any chance you could do slight edits in a future version to add fictional badging etc? Of course, you don't have to, but since you can't use the actual real life brand, you could make something up, replace the gryphon in the door interior panel stitching with something like an eagle or dragon. Think up of a name for the badge on the grille, etc. It could be something as simple as just picking the name of a different Swedish county. "Hallandia", "Dalarnia", "Olandia" etc. I just think that if you can't use official badging, at least creating some fictional ones can make the truck more believeable in the BeamNG environment.
I have found the solution to peoples game crashing when they spawn this truck in. Yours graphic setting must be on *NORMAL* Then the truck should perfectly spawn without the game crashing.
Wow, this truck is super fun to drive and haul around. Amazing detail work, model and simulation wise. I have no significant frame drops on any map I drove so far. The frames only start dropping when I spawn it with the second trailer...but that is expected Destruction wise...man, I never knew how beautifull a crashed euro truck cabin would look in this game. I also like the fact hat it hardly gets stuck into things...you can always rip it right out of the trees you colide with Anyways I love it! Thank you for the time you put into this mod and thanks for sharing! I can't wait for your Porsche. ps. It even likes getting sideways
