Released 8x8 Heavy utility truck 2016-6-5

not me it works. the tirs just pop

 

i LOVE it, but it either upon spawn:
Crashes the game
Or
Has no wheels/textures/doors/anything.
HALP?

 

If your textures are on low it will crash the game, and the tire glitch is well known and will be fixed with the next BeamNG update. This has already been mentioned earlier in the thread. Next time, please take the time to read the thread before posting problems.

I use high quality, but i still get the problem

 

will this ever be fixed or looked at again or is this mob just another made once updated never?? cause i really liked this mod and now its broken if i reverse i cant shift into a higher gear... so if i go into manual or automatic and i reverse i cant upshift... :/ and automatic wont upshift either...

 

the issues lay in the game engine and now this mod works fully on v 0.5.2.1 (latest)

 

Yep, latest version (0.5.2) fixed all the bugs with the tyres exploding.

 

VERY NICE the only problems I have are the gauges are missing their textures and the transmission tops at 2krpm unless I downshift it to force it higher

 

thats its max rpm
its just that the ui code was rewritten and some cars max rpms show incorrectly

 

Amazing, Totally amazing. But:
It needs a huge horse power boost.....It has a 730hp, But it needs around a 1200hp.. You can't get over 30 even on a flat long map like an endless highway.

Hills bring you to your knees...........I can never take this anywhere like Desert Roads the slightest hill brings it to like 14mph

Other than that its perfect just seriously give it more power

 

it has a diesel engine, which has lots of torque but not much horsepower
if you are struggling on a hill switch to manual as thats what the truck was made to drive in

also, btw: it has two engine options so if the stock one is too slow switch it out for the faster one

 

i have found that the gauge texture is missing and whenever i go in reverse it stays jamed on r2 so i removed reverse 2 on the engine config folder in the mod and it is working fine

where? and how?

 

O the engine file within the mod and i removed the r2 gear which is somthing like - 45 or somthig and it now goes as slow as a dead slug going backwards

After the recent update 0.5.4 i found this vehicle to not work.. Have tried to log thru the log, but havent figured out why.. Idk if maybe its some changes done to the beam/node system? I spawn up the vehicle, mesh spawns and i see the full trailer textured. But it just stands there like "shaking" a bit. Its not driveable, and have not loaded any details about the truck (Weight etc). Just wanted to point this out if you havent experienced it yourself. Im running the game with all settings at max except dynamic reflections. Only vehicle so far i have had this problem with.

 

I'm having the same issue as The KeX.
I load any map and can use the Gavril D as normal.
When I load the 8x8 heavy utility truck, I have no throttle, no steering, no shifter (game does change from automatic to manual mode, but the truck's gears don't change), and no parking brake response.
