Stirling S6/S12 Lore Vincent Stirling was a British man who grew up working in his father's motorcycle company. In the early 1930's, he started building his own race cars with the knowledge and tooling from his father's factory. By the 1940's, he started producing passenger cars, putting his father in charge of the business side of things so he could still focus on building race cars. In the 50's after his father passed and he took over the business, he started working on a racing based production car. The result was the S6. With mechanical and frame construction from his race cars, and a body designed in Italy, it saw immediate success worldwide.
