Excellent idea as I am not always on the forums. Correct You are absolutely right and that was the original plan but unfortunately work and life commitments come first. I cant mod if im homeless. THANK YOU I will release it probably this weekend. Will review it on Friday and release on Saturday. Doesnt even have to be a thorough review. Even if theres still alot of issues to solve, its still a work in progress anyways. See you soon!
Until now I've never heard of this car. It's so odd-looking, large and boaty that I actually love it... For me, the engine sounds do not work, but I'm sure it's just because it has a massive muffler to increase the smoothness of the grandmamobile.
The engine sounds don't work because a recent update broke them since this car is based on an older version of the Grand Marshal's JBeam as far as I know.
Yup I think you need to clear cache or maybe another mod might be conflicting with it. Ive tried it on two separate laptops and didnt have any issues.
Hmmm ive received several screenshots from people on discord and they seem fine. Try those things: 1. Make sure you delete the old 1991 caprice mod. 2. Remove all other mods except the new caprice mod. 3. Then deep clean cache. 4. Run the game and spawn the caprice and check textures.
Thanks for the advice! I forgot I had some custom configurations for the older version of the Caprice so I deleted them and now it doesn't have that "NO MATERIAL" issue anymore. Can't wait to see what's in store for the next update!
Press the Windows key and S at the same time or click on your start menu and click on the textbox that says "Search programs and files". Then type "CapriceClassic96" into the textbox and delete any file/folder that has the name "CapriceClassic.zip" or "CapriceClassic96". These are what the old version of the mod's files are called.
You're welcome. I'm surprised I actually explained that clearly enough for you to understand. Usually, I'm absolutely terrible at explaining even the simplest of things.
