I haven't quite figure out the standard mod folder structure, so you decompress the zip and drop it in the 'mod' folder. 'unpacked' should go in mods.
Stock 200BX, yellow, maybe not the best choice It's great fun though ! Takes some effort to get all vehicles set up (without damaging). A suggestion would be a few centered nodes on the trailer floors for easier node coupling so the loads (and cars) can be anchored more easily.
Hunh. didn't even think of sticking nodes on the load floor. except for the trailer pivot, connecting nodes usually generates explosive results for me. The short-bed truck with a rollbar seems to properly support cars up top decently.
You unzip/decompress it and drop it in your games mod folder. not the appdata beam folder mods usually download to. I'm probably gonna do a 2nd alpha update in the next few days, i'll figure out how to do a standard zip drop in.
Hey, I cleaned up your mod folder a bit to make it a compressed folder, as I don't like unpacked mods in my folder. There's nothing wrong with it though, it's just that I need order in my folders as I mod quite some stuff myself. I just couldn't get the default thumbnail working and I'm baffled why so.. Anyway, if you want I can post the zip file and you can pick it up from there.
Yeah, I'd appreciate that. that's yet another thing about this process that seemingly isn't documented anywhere. lol
BRUH. while i really like what you got going on here, and i appreciate the work you have put in to it, i'd love to see that grand prix developed into a working gtp with some sicknasty parts.
It's coming. I wanted a simpler project to start on. there's no proper interior or anything but the exterior shell for it so It'll be a bunch of work to do all that.
I downloaded it and put it in the repo but it's not in there like in the vehicle spawn menu. Can anyone help me?
Hunh. pretty sure i tried that folder layout... of course it works NOW... Alpha 2 is up. New central attach nodes and a few other improvements. ANYONE WHO'S HAD TROUBLE INSTALLING THIS, It should now drop in and work in either Beam mod folder.
You have to use the node-grabber and middle-mouse button to manually connect the lowest node on the front to whatever car your towing it with. There will eventually be cars that will connect it with just the L key, but they're not done yet.
