More progress: -added shark fin aerial -added 3rd brake light -added 1st pass for the badge. The details are too thin at the moment, I'll rework the textures later for a more "bold" look. -added front bumper variation for V10 TT version (pictured). Note: previous screenshots showed carbon intakes under the headlights, those parts are meant to be race parts of the V10 and V10TT. -adjusted undertray/fender liner areas in the front so no more holes. -added performance hood. Nothing there yet, I'll work on the interior after I release the first exterior Alpha version.
I managed to frustrate myself with the rear lights today so I decided to "take a break" from the interior and do some interior things: -Scintilla steering wheel for the GTX versions. I'll also make a round version without all the drive mode switches for the basic versions. -Scintilla seats with Bastion bases. I'll re-upholster (aka re-texture) these so they match the Bastion interior. The centers will be alcantara instead of the Scintilla pattern. -Scintilla brakes. -Small edits on the dashboard: new instrument cluster shell and new shifters (only Automatic pictured).
Rear lights textures and engines to get it to an Alpha state. I don't know when the release will be. Sorry I don't have a clear answer. The GTX with a 454 LSX crate motor is about 2100kg without touching the Bastion part weights. I'll be doing rear lights and engines to prepare the first Alpha version. I will later on adjust part prices, weights and nodes in the Beta.
More updates, the rear lights (EUDM). Two versions:clear glass and red glass. PS: Ignore the borked badge, no idea what broke the material. Also, I'm aware of the misspelling of "Baionetta", it needs to be one less letter to fit the license plate )
I've started working on integrating the engines. I'll be mostly copy pasting numbers from the Vivace for the I4 and the Scintilla for the V10. This should allow me to get it working enough to be worthy for an Alpha release next week. Tomorrow (Friday) I won't be making any updates.
Here some WIP shots of the engines in the game. Stock I4: I4 tuned: no covers and a cone filter: V10:
Most likely no due to time constraints. But it will have all the engines and transmissions from the Bastion available.
Shouldn't the licence plate be placed on the right of the front bumper? Most Alfa Romeo cars have the front licence plate on the right since it would otherwise obstruct the radiator.
Sure, it's on the list of things to do for the Beta together with the rest of the logos. Good suggestion, thanks! I'll try it and see how it looks.
