Nothing against @JorgePinto or this mod, but can we not with the unnecessarily generous praise? The creator clearly states on page one that this is supposed to be a meshslap taken to a higher level, saying that that's dev quality is kind of demeaning to all the hard work the devs put into the vanilla vehicles. It's like eating a meal made from a HelloFresh* kit and saying that the person who made it should become a professional chef. That's not to knock the work the person did in preparing the meal, just like I'm not trying to knock JorgePinto's work in making this mod. *This forum post is NOT brought to you by HelloFresh, America's #1 meal kit.
Thank you all! No offense, that is exactly the nature of this mod, sits between a lazy meshslap, and a crafted mod from zero, far from both ends, but definitely more satisfactory that the former. Sadly no, would be lovely for sure, but I'm keeping this safe, options-wise, there is the snorkel and that's about it, maybe the 110X skin with the black bonnet to add something extra, but at least on my part, nothing more I'm afraid...
Old thumbnail goes away... Which can only mean one thing based on BeamNG's tradition! (P.S. Only 2 configs are included, it's up to you to mix the 110X skin, which has a black bonnet, the snorkel, and the 3 main colors, which are the main body, the roof, and most plastics as seen in the first car)
Sorry about that, left out the materials file for the wheels, please download it again, clean the cache, and try again (download updated)
Added instructions in the first post, all you need to do is put the zip file into your local mods folder, located here: (C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.24\mods) you can access it through your BeamNG folder within Documents, it will link you there if you click the folder 'moved here'
Pretty cool, higher quality than expected, doesn't even spike too much on huge crashes, which is rare for a high poly model!
Thanks! I tried many jbeam changes all around the car to avoid weird behaviour as much as possible, also followed your advises of course like the one for the selfcollision in the tailights and others, so hopefully nothing too crazy will happen when using the car. --- Post updated --- Small update published, thanks to @PabloMM I forgot to include power steering, so not only is now in, both configs have them by default. Also deleted the rally steering, which was a leftover from the Tograc file.
