For now i'm struggling with the dash, so the rate of update was slowed down. I will probably leave it more or less like that for now and start working on the rest of the jbeam.
Looking good! Race car interiors are incredibly spartan, sometimes no dashboard past the driver's side at all (just a firewall) so no worries.
Yeah, i'm taking inspiration from cars like the BRZ GT300, that have a very spartan dashboard on the driver side (but with pipes and bits everywhere), but the passenger side looks like the factory dashboard. that's why the passenger side is like that, even though i will remove the vents.
If you are going to make that please make it availible for all the vanilla vehicles I have been looking for something like that thanks!
Does anyone know what downforce a GT300 car makes at a certain speed ? I'm having trouble finfing this information. Also, does the weight distribution app measure weight generated by downforce too ?
The only number I could find is 860kg @ 240km/h for a GT3 Acura NSX, and I think GT300s produce more downforce than GT3s. The app should show the weight from the downforce too.
There are models, materials and textures for this kind of switches in the common folder, maybe they can help you
Thanks ! I just found all the textures in the common folder, so i will be able to use the common carbon texture. But blender doesn't support this type of dds compression so it appears pink and i can't adjust the uv.
Accidentally found out that there is a material named "grille" in the common folder by naming a material grille in blender lol Also changed the rear quarter panels And widened and added a bit of a shape to the wing
It's kinda wonky on the BRZ GT300 also. I think this is what Turbo49 modeled it after. (edit: never mind, I see what you mean) Maybe the endplates could be recessed like on the real thing. It just looks the business.
