ETK HF Series (2015-2019) Model: ETK HF 25, HF 30, HF 35 Years of Production: 2015 - 2019 Manufacturer: ETK Automotive, Inc. Class: Compact Luxury SUV / Crossover Coupe Layout: Front-engine, All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Introduction: In the mid-2010s, ETK, a renowned German automotive manufacturer, sought to expand its portfolio and tap into the rapidly growing market for compact luxury crossover SUVs. While ETK had long been known for its elegant and high-performance sedans and coupes, the company realized that the demand for stylish yet practical vehicles was steadily rising. Enter the ETK HF Series, a blend of luxury, performance, and versatility—tailored for those who wanted more than just a utilitarian SUV, but also a striking, sporty design that could turn heads in the city and handle rough terrain when needed. Drawing inspiration from luxury SUVs like the BMW X4, ETK’s engineers sought to push the boundaries of performance while maintaining the refined luxury that the brand was known for. The result was the ETK HF Series—distinctive, athletic, and unmistakably ETK. Design Philosophy: The design team at ETK envisioned a vehicle that balanced boldness and refinement. The HF Series was sculpted with a coupe-like roofline, emphasizing sleek aerodynamic lines while still offering the practicality of an SUV. With a sloping rear window and wide stance, the HF series presented a muscular yet elegant silhouette, exuding sophistication and dynamism. The front fascia incorporated ETK's signature kidney grilles, flanked by sharp LED headlights. The sloped roof and rear tailgate design, paired with the high beltline, emphasized the vehicle’s sporty aesthetic, while the wide wheel arches signaled its performance potential. The overall design was meant to appeal to young professionals who appreciated the blend of ruggedness and refinement. Performance and Powertrains: The ETK HF Series featured a range of engines designed to offer a balance of power and efficiency. At launch, the HF 25, HF 30, and HF 35 provided varying levels of performance to cater to a wide range of drivers: HF 25: Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the HF 25 produced a respectable 245 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, making it the perfect choice for drivers seeking a balance of performance and fuel economy. With an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the HF 25 could accelerate from 0-60 mph in just under 6.5 seconds. HF 30: The HF 30 came with a 3.0L inline-six turbocharged engine, producing 330 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. It featured ETK’s innovative adaptive suspension system, which adjusted the ride quality for both performance-oriented handling and comfort during longer trips. The HF 30 was regarded as the ideal choice for those who wanted something more powerful but didn’t need a full-fledged performance SUV. HF 35: The HF 35 represented the pinnacle of the HF Series, with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged inline-six engine producing an impressive 400 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. Equipped with ETK’s high-performance AWD system, the HF 35 delivered unparalleled traction and handling, accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 5.1 seconds. Its high-performance brakes and adaptive sport suspension made it a true driver’s vehicle, all while maintaining the luxury features that ETK was known for. Interior and Technology: Inside, the HF Series embodied the perfect balance of high-tech luxury and driver-focused ergonomics. The cockpit was dominated by a large 12.3-inch digital display offering customizable layouts, alongside an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen integrated into the center console. ETK’s proprietary ETKLink infotainment system was lauded for its intuitive interface, and the system was compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ensuring that drivers had all the connectivity they needed. Luxury materials like Nappa leather and wood accents adorned the cabin, and the rear seats offered ample space for passengers, making the HF Series a comfortable choice for long journeys. The vehicle's high-quality sound system, developed in collaboration with Harman Kardon, set a new standard for audio in the compact luxury SUV market. For safety, the HF Series featured a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking, making it one of the safest vehicles in its class. Performance and Handling: The HF Series was engineered to provide an exceptional driving experience, whether cruising on the highway or navigating challenging terrain. With the adaptive M-Sport suspension system, the HF series could instantly adjust to varying road conditions, offering a smooth ride while maintaining the agility expected of a performance-oriented crossover. The ETK ActiveTorque all-wheel-drive system provided optimal traction, especially in wet or off-road conditions, and was paired with dynamic driving modes that allowed for different driving characteristics. Whether in “Comfort” mode for smooth daily commutes or “Sport” mode for spirited driving on winding mountain roads, the HF series could cater to all driving preferences. Market Position and Legacy: When the ETK HF Series was launched in 2015, it immediately garnered attention for its mix of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology. The vehicle’s strong performance credentials, combined with its sleek design, made it an instant hit among urban professionals and driving enthusiasts alike. Over the course of its production run (2015-2019), the HF Series built a reputation for reliability and performance, earning accolades from automotive critics and fans alike. The HF 35 in particular became a sought-after model for those who wanted a combination of everyday practicality and a thrilling driving experience. Despite its success, ETK discontinued the HF Series in 2019 as they shifted their focus toward electric vehicle development. However, the HF Series continues to be remembered fondly by fans of the brand, often regarded as one of ETK’s most bold and ambitious forays into the luxury SUV market. Etching Into History: The legacy of the ETK HF Series remains etched in the history of the brand as a groundbreaking vehicle that combined the worlds of luxury, sport, and versatility. Many enthusiasts still hold on to their HF 30 and HF 35 models, as their blend of performance, comfort, and technology made them true benchmarks in the luxury SUV segment. Even today, in the world of electric powertrains, the HF Series is remembered as one of the last great gasoline-powered crossover SUVs from ETK.
it also must have took him a herculean amount of effort to download a BMW X6 model from the internet too. Almost as if my non-existent pet dog could do just that. While yes, he did credit the person who made it, which i do appreciate, he could have changed some things to make it actually look the part, and not like he straight up just pulled the model from the Internet and made a thread and called it a day. (Ripping models and not editing them at all= no learning, you aren't really learning anything by using someone else's work without having any insight into it)
was there meant to be a reply at all, or are you just quoting? --- Post updated --- if he's making the interior the part, he might as well remodel it all. look at it, it's literally PS2. And the front? Power to them lol. All i'm saying is, typically that most car mods on the forum threads dont really make it till theyre mysteriously canned lole (same model as from sketchfab because i cant remote into his PC)
Hello everyone. Yes ik I downloaded the model from the Internet. I'm currently working on the front to make it different. I'm going to make the grilles closer and change the headlights. This is to make the design more ETKish as I want to make this lore-friendly and it would be weird if it didn't follow ETK's design philosphy. Same for the rear. I'm going to change the tailights a bit. And finally, I'm going to remodel the interior to make it look like an ETK and also because it doesn't match Beamng's interior quality. Ik I shouldn't look for models online, and I probably won't do it again... I have tried to model it myself entirely several times but it was horrible. I think I overestimated myself... I want to continue making this mod, so I will not cancel it and continue with what I have. Hope you have a nice day!
looks not bad for a first mod it seems so good luck with further progress. also do change the model up a bit to make it match the ETK designing and not just a BMW X4. And if you are going to just make it an X4, then just make it with real branding (as long as you keep it free) or model the car yourself into an ETK rather than just downloading the model from the internet and changing the badges
Yes, I'm going to change the design like the front and a bit of the rear and the entire interior is going to be remodeled too.
Yes I do, but I'm not very skilled... --- Post updated --- --- Post updated --- I am currenly remodeling the front. I am not very skilled, but this is what I've made in 10 minutes --- Post updated --- Proportions look a bit off and there's some mesh clipping in some parts... --- Post updated --- There's plenty of work left to do
meh etk 800 on suv coupe body like i said its good for a first try, put it in game and keep us updated
