That would be stupid, but it would be a nice touch and a bit funny. :). Only problem is his hands wont move with the steering wheel.

I don't plan to make a driver as of right now.

I love this, seeing the chassis reminds me of how versatile this format can be. The chassis Raw engineering produce for the Striker

    cadwell4.jpg

can also be used for thier other model the fulcrum

    2836067462_fdcb70e581.jpg

and a few of their customers have looked at using it for classic style reproductions too.

would love to see a couple of variants but of course i understand its a mamoth task!

looking forward to this being finished, you are making great progress!

    This looks awesome :)
I love these lightweight cars, and it reminds me a bit of a Radical SR8 RS, just cooler :p

Good luck with that one, I just hope you can get the handling as awesome as the model will be! :)

I should be able to.... I've come up with some shit handling cars, and I've also had some good ones. :)

Got the cooling system made, along with the intercooler and piping:

    You mean AWD...right?

It certainly wont be a rear engine FWD I hope.

lol it's gonna be rwd he just meant that it would be the same trans as a front wheel drive car.

edit: in the same way a 3800 gm engine from a front wheel drive car can be swapped into a fiero using the same fwd trans the 3800 came with

That would be the dumbest drivetrain in the entire universe. So no, it's going to be mid mounted, rwd using a DSM fwd transmission.

if the engine is in the back and it uses a fwd tranny... it will drive the rear wheels, just think about it for a moment haha

It works the same way as it does in the front, just moved to the back. I think the Ariel Atom had a setup similar to that..

Answered it nicely and clearly, thank you.

No need to teach me how transmissions work, I've been a mechanic for 6 years. A FWD transaxle is the proper term fyi. (Not directed at you moosedicks, you were very polite)

I was simply confused on how he worded it. It's very clear now, thank you.

More work done. Redesigned the front suspension completely, added a fuel system, turbo lines are done. Still need to add a lot of stuff...

This car is really neat, I've thought about doing the same thing before. It reminds me of one of those Lola racecars that you can order and hop right onto the Le Mans starting grid :)
